The long wait was soon over and done—1
A matter of days from whence it’d begun.2
No matter his godly appearance and power,3
Raine didn’t care for him that first hour.4
Demure and alone, she merely agreed5
To take part in the marriage, in sense: to concede.6
Off unto the bedchambers they’d slip—7
Dradoff in hoping an early night’s trip.8
But Raine wasn’t willing to let him take firm9
What in a few days he would so in worm.10
Such menial statement was dangerous too11
Yet she didn’t care of what he would do.12
As straight and true as a foul-hearted sot,13
He left her alone: forever or not.14
Raine’s head wasn’t where it ought to have been15
And she wanted to wander in forest again.16
So out through the night she stole without care17
To wander the land from whither and where.18
Melancholy pervade her sad little heart19
As through the terrain she spoke there in part.20
“Why can’t I be animal? A dog or a bird?21
I know it’d be better than all I have heard.”22
At long last she came, unto a warm creek23
That tumbled from high, a stony soft cheek.24
In memories past, she dwelt for a while25
And into the waters, she went with a smile.26
Yet when she at last thought that she was alone27
A sound came to her ears that chilled to the bone.28
And to his great sorrow he was soon induced29
To display for the girl Lecoren for soothed.30

Author notes
Oky...please check out Rose Dark Thorn's series, Dragonic Soulmates. This is based of the prologue and I'm thinking of doing the rest of the story as well.
