Before - Part 3

I was fast asleep when one was taken. He had slept in the open. We had all forgotten the night watch. They had been implanted with night-vision. Against the laws of nature. I remember waking up that morning. I peeked out from my hiding spot and didn't see anyone. This didn't faze me, because everyone else was hidden. I crawled out from the hole in the floor and stretched my legs. I walked outside after a quick glimpse arond to make sure it was safe. Everyone else was sitting around a small fire, cooking some eggs over it. I remember asking where he was, while everyone didn't even look up. They didn't say a word. I remember falling to my knees and just lying face down on the ground for a while. I shed no tears.1

oh, thats so sad. you write things in a paragraph what it takes a lot of people three pages to write. you're such a good author! wow, this really struck me, especially with the ending short, quick, and powerful.
