Thats Vegas! Chapter 6

~Chapter 6~1

*Vroom Vroom*2

“Man it’s hot out here” Nick said as soon as they got into the parking lot.  “Really?”  Sarah replied and looked at him. “It’s normal for me.”  They started walking, then she noticed Nick walk to a black 1997 Jeep Wrangler.  He looked at her and shrugged.  “What?  It’s hot out here and I am not willing to walk that far in this heat… come on.”  Sarah stood where she had halted for a few seconds then made her way to the SUV.  She opened the door and some papers fell from he side pocket.  Figuring they were worthless, she let them lay and she got in.  “They looked blank to me…” she thought to herself as they started to drive away.    “ So…” He said and stopped at a light.  “Aren’t you supposed to be in the left turning lane?” she asked and looked at him.  “Well, we are going to make a little stop first…” They turned right and Sarah started getting nervous.  “Where are we going?” She asked.  “You’ll see….” He replied slowly.  Sara started getting nervous but didn’t say anything.  3

After being quiet for a few minutes, and staring out the window, Nick looked at her  and broke the silence.  “Watcha doin?”  He asked swiftly.  She looked at him, a little fear lingered in her eyes.  She looked back out the window with a little mumble of “nothing”  was her reply.  “Know where we’re going?” he asked her while keeping his eyes on the road.  “Yeah of course I do, I’m psychic!”  She relied sarcastically.  “No, I don’t… mind sharing?”  Nick took a left turn onto a deserted dirt road on the outskirts of Vegas.  He pulled the car over, took his seat belt off and looked at her.  “Why do you have to know?” he asked as he reached across her to the glove compartment and pulled out a red handkerchief and some duct tape.  He reached back , took the keys and put them in his pocket.  “You won’t want to know where we’re going….”4

    GREAT

Oh, great job. I knew it would end up being like this. This is a really great idea for a story because there are people arund that do this sort of thing, and they are being really sick about it too. I like the idea that you are implying by saying that he thinks it is hot out, but sarah thinks it is normal. That is good, it makes me think that he hasn't lived there long, that he just moved there from another place because of something, mabey trouble...

You use good choice of words with every feelings you undergo for the moment. exhibits some of the positive qualities of good writing: good construction and organization of sentences, paragraphs, and the essay as a whole; good choice of words and phrases; concentration on a main purpose, with good development and strong support; few mechanical errors. Although the writing is above average lacks the excellence of thought, development, and style which characterizes but still really good.
