and she looked up at the sky, his arm around her shoulder, she realized, it was time.  and she looked over at him, his eyes glistening blue, and then back at the sky.  1

stars were aligning, she knew what she had to do.  looking at her watch, the little hand merely reaching 6, the big hand at 2.  and it was morning2

getting up to leave, she was walking away from that night.  away from that week and that month, and that relation ship.  unawareness lingered in his mind.  3

turning around to blow one last kiss, he was gone.  with somebody else, who was never to leave him. 4

she felt hurt and betrayed, but so did he.  and it clicked.  she had killed him, and he her.  emotionally shattered, they left, never spoke again.  didnt even crossed paths.  5

and years have past with her to ponder if she should have givin herself to him, the way she did that one night, under the stars.  not having been another drunk push-over, she thought it was perfect.  but it wasnt.  and she knows it6
