You can look at someone for weeks and never take in every look. You can talk to someone for months and never hear all they have to say. You can know someone for years and never know everything about them.1
Some people are just harder to figure out than others though. Yet everyone still tries to figure them out, even though they'll just fail. Maybe it's because they just don't realize this fact, I do. I may be young, but I think that I've figured out a lot about this world, but as I've said, I haven't even fully figured out one person, and that includes myself. 2
Yet, even though I do know I'll never succeed, I still try to figure him out. What is going on with him, that I just can't figure out? I know that I'll never know, but for some reason, I know that I can never stop trying too.3

This is a short intro to a story series I want to write. I may write more tonight, maybe not.

The first paragraph really pulls the reader in. I was hooked after reading that. Good intro, can't wait to see what happens!
