Government work

Being a government assassin really has nothing to do with violence.  In fact, it would be a pacifist’s job, a job that allows an end to wars.  Yes occassionally it is used to start wars too, but it has also ended manya war.  Being an assassin is about politics.  Don’t get me wrong, there is great money in it, but it is about the politics.  An assassin can change the entire future of a situation or society.  Even the private contracting jobs are generally politically influenced.  There are morals involved that make the assassin different from the serial murderer, the assassin kills based on the interests of himself and those who hired him.  It is about the advancement of one person, one group, or one entire government over another.  It is about ridding the world of the truest terrorists of all, politicians.  In the long run, drug lords and mafia heads are politicians; they may not follow the same laws as the suits and ties that we “electâ€? into office, but they are all trying to find a means towards the same end.  Besides how different is the law that when a drug lord kills his competition it is murder, but when a president bombs another country whose ideas differ from his it is not murder?1

Our society, our species, thrives on change, and that is why for our species murder is a necessity.  People talk about the fact that other animals do not commit murder in the sense that they do not kill simply to kill.  Other animals kill for food, or mating rights, or territory.  But when you look at it that is what we kill for too.  People commit murder every day when their partners cheat on them, mating rights; and people, gangs, kill every day over territory rights.  It is survival, it is Darwin’s theories being proven true every day.  The only difference is that human beings tend to think we are above the animals.  We have a superiority complex.  We think that we should be able to survive without murder.  But murder, along with disease and natural disasters, controls the populations.  Murder keeps our herds thin enough for us to survive.2

When deer herds become so large that we deem them a danger to nature we allow deer hunting.  However for the last quarter of a century at least we have talked about pollution and how dangerous humans are to the environment.  We acknowledge that there are too many people in this world; that we have exceeded the carrying capacity of our environment, yet we still deem murder wrong.  We think that we can continue to have children and lengthen the life span and lock up murderers and that somehow this will help the environment?3

So, I repeat, being an assassin is not about violence, it is about politics and the advancement of society.  If it were not for change in this world, if it were not for the rise and fall of societies we would have long overrun the world and killed ourselves off in one way or another.  Assassins simply contribute to the survival of our society, and to the survival of what they deem is the best interest for our society.  Assassination is a dangerous political game that is played every day for humans to continue living the lives they have grown accustomed to.  This is my story, short tales of why I have chosen to do what I do for a living, and why I will continue to for as long as I can.4
