Background of Jasmine7

Jasmine Fryth was born October 3rd, 2181 to Quinn and Jocelyn Fryth. Quinn came from the land of Zorbia and Jocelyn came from Retune. Now the Zorbs didn't like the Retu but as a truce from each land's king, they married their eldest children to each other. Quinn was happy to be with Jocelyn for they had had a crush on each other since they were ten years old. Having a child marked the coming of ages for the lands of the now united kingdoms. Jasmine would be twenty-one soon and her four brothers were close behind. If Jasmine wasn't wed by her birthday, the kingdom would be departed in ways.9
Description of Jasmine10

Jasmine Monit Fryth is twenty years old and has almond green eyes. She had beautiful rose brown hair that came down to the middle of her back with braids on the left and right sides of her head. She stood five feet, eight inches tall and only weighed one hundred and fifty-four pounds. She was a magnificent person. She has the powers that not many could master her age. Mind control, fire manipulation, and wind flight gives her an edge over most for these three powers are given only to gods and goddesses. She also had the ability to entertain others with her singing voice, and her words were of that above others,. At twenty she should have just now been entering the thirteenth level of private first class training, however she was already a captain and not just a captain, she was a nineteenth level first class captain. Most at this level were at least thirty or older. She stood out in this manner.12
Background of Settings13
Kingdom Zorbord and Kingdom Retune-Lanca, both over a million years old, have formed to be the Kingdom of Griv. For twenty-seen years, the kingdom has been united in honor and dignity. That was their motto. Live in honor, dignity, and sincere peace. 14
The people of this great land have merged to be one. They have battled other great lands to widen their land mass and structure their kingdom. A rich soil land of beautiful waters and greenery. Buildings of wood and sod stood tall. Even though they had the technology and magic to be more sophisticated, the rulers chose to be simple and easy going. 15
Present Day16
"Jasmine!" Quinn yelled.17
"Coming!" Jasmine yelled back. 18
They were going to be late and Jasmine knew it. She could care less about her new promotion. Already she was the youngest captian, and she didn't want to stand out again. But she was going to be a major and she didn't want the responsibility. 19
"Mom, I don't want to be a Major. I'm happy being a Captain. I'm only twenty and everyone in my age group is beneath me." Jasmine whispered so her dad wouldn't hear her.20
"Honey, it isn't your fault you were born with knowledge and power. Besides, you are now stepping out of the battle zone. You're going to be a treaty major which puts you one step closer to be what your dream is."21
Sighing, Jasmine gave in. It was no use to argue. It wasn't her goal or dream. It was her parents. It was the goal of a lifetime, to become the Queen that dealt with treaties and become a War Lady. What Jasmine really wanted to do was become a famous novelist, poet and singer. But no, her parents would flip if she told them that. 22
Major Ceremony and Power Awards23
The kingdom's great hall was the most magical building in the land. Invisible canyons protected it. That was so that people trying to find the Land of Griv, wouldn't see the great hall and start battle. The outer layer of the building was guard protected. You had to put your badge through a badge locator, press your hand to the hand detector and say your own personal password in your mind while walking across a swinging mind reading block. Sometimes people got stuck there because they would say their house entrance password instead of the great hall password. It was funny to see them zapped. 24
Jasmines' parents were to set with the kings and queens. Quinn, Jasmines' father was the king of land raids and a warlord. Not only that, he was the land's sorcerer and family practical doctor. Jocelyn, Jasmines' mother was the war queen and queen of illegal magic and sailing. Her mom was the land's law judge and animal doctor. She sat under the land queen. 25
Jasmine sat in the non-judged section where thirty percent of the captains sat. They sat in this section because they were beyond their judging period and would be given either, their new post and awards or their new titles and awards. 26
It was the same every year. First came the entertainers, than the firewords, than the award ceremony, and lastly the post and titles. But this year, it was a little different. This year, Arany Fontz sung with firewords behind them. Jasmine never saw them do the ceremony this way and others around her felt like her, edgy.27
It surprised everyone when the kings and queens got up to make speeches. This was very unusual for this kind of ceremony and Jasmine had attended each one since the age of four. Jasmines' mother, Jocelyn was the last to speak.28
"As you know, this ceremony is held once a year and you have heard everyone else's speech. I'm not going to say the same thing. As you all know, we have a new group of archrivals coming up. They are the Notrices. They are fierce, cruel, and unemotional. They plan to attack this land in four doths."29
Every gasped in horror.30
"Please everyone calm down. The reason I'm telling you this is because we are sending treaty lags over there to see what we can to stop a war from happening. We are initiating two majors into the treaty lag and the leader of this lag will be Jasmine Fryth."31
Everyone started yelling and all Jasmine could do was sink low into her chair. She hears a few of the others around her saying that was nothing new. No one should be surprised about Jasmine being the leader of a treaty lag that her mom and dad would head. 32
King Manu stood up. "SILENCE!" His voice echoed above everyone else's. "The queen has spoken and this is what will be. NOW, it is time for the award ceremony."33
List of Awards34
The list lit up like a hologram. There were ten categories and Jasmine's name was on all ten. It wasn't like she didn't earn them. She fought and did every test like the rest of them. Alphabetically, the fifteen captains went to the awards platforms and as they stood on them, their awards flashed above them and each captains' uniform flashed a color to show their ranks. As their ranks came out, their awards pinned themselves on them.35
Jasmine was embarrassed. Again, she was the highest rank and the youngest. She again was named honored first class which meant she was in charge. Her best friend, Kendi was named major first class. She knew he would be named this. In Jasmines' opinion, Kendi was much better than she was in everything. But she could not fight with the gods and goddesses that ruled over these things. 36
Kendi whispered, "You deserve every one of those awards. You know it and everyone else knows that the kings and queens have no say in these things."37
Blushing, Jasmine whispered, "Thank you."38
Flunig Minte39
The next morning, Jasmine went to the Flunig Minte or the flight temple to get her orders.40
"Major Fryth, you will take three lags and set forth to the land of Norti. You will meet with King Onte and Queen Azoe. Then you will them our treaty. One wuator you will give them to decide. If they say no, you will bring word by Flamtep. They are to give you safe passage back home. They must not bring battle upon you."41
"Yes your majesty." Jasmine said matter of fact raising her left hand in honor.42
"Major, you will have one lag and the other two lags will be scouts and standouts."43
"Your majesty, I wish for permission to speak freely." Jasmine said sternly.44
"Please do." The king said setting down motioning the meeting was now informal.45
"The Norti land is very vague and we have no experience there. Our lags are not ready for scouting and standouts. It would be like telling me to put a knife to your head and shave you bald."46
"Major Fryth, this I understand. But we have three doths left. We have no time for preparation."47
"Than I ask for no one under the rank of Lutente to be in my lags. They will be more battle field experienced and are use to the scout rules. I don't have time to worry about newbies." 48
"You are correct. You, Major Kendi, and Major Fic will be in charge."49
"Major Fic sir?" Jasmine asked.50
"Yes. Major Fic. He's an inside spy for us in the land of Norti."51
"Oh, well sir. Is he here now?"52
"Yes. He is awaiting your command."53
Meeting Major Fic54
Going to the tunca, Jasmine went in and found Major Fic sitting at the Major's table with his lags around him. Already Jasmine couldn't stand the man. He was loud crude, and wasn't eating just for one. His lags were starving and he didn't give them any food. 55
"Why aren't these people eating?" Jasmine questioned with a demanding tone. 56
"What's it to ya?" Fic spat57
Almost throwing up from the stench of Major Fic's breath, Jasmine stood tall and bold. "I, Major Jasmine Fryth wishes to know, why a major would eat before his lags and let them starve?"58
"It's the way of me lands."59
"Well it's not here. Major Fic's lags please rise and get yourselves some food."60
Major Fic stood in a rage. "How dare ye tell me lags what'n to do!"61
"Stand down Major Fic. This Major Honor First class Fryth. She's of royalty here and your commanding officer. What she says goes." Major Kendi stated pulling his hice.62
Major Fic boiling sat down in fury and continued eating. Under his breath he muttered, "Women. Only good fur one ting, and that bein' mattin'."63
Angered beyond belief, Jasmine brought fire out from her hands and knocked the table out from underneath Fic. "I dare you to say that in our land again. You betray your land and are a spy. But if I find you betray this land, I will burn you till you are just alive. Speak ill of another woman and I'll cut off your balls and permanently stick them in your arse."64
Fic embarrassed, excused himself and left his lags behind with Major Kendi and Fryth.65
The Bayni with the King66
In the Bayni walls, Jasmine knew she had angered the kings and queens. But she did not care what they thought. She wouldn't have that man speak like that in her kingdom.67
"Major Jasmine Fryth, please come to our table. We wish a bayni with you."68
Walking to the table, she saw her mother. Her eyes were lightening boltz. Yep, she knew she was in for it. 69
"Major Fic, please be seated." stated Doku.70
"Major Fryth and Fic, you have been brought here for a bayni about the confrontation in the tunca. It is not acceptable for you to be a war with each other. Major Fic, I know your land view things differently where women are concerned. But in this land, women are rulers and have power. Women are free to have jobs and work along beside men as equals. As long as you are on our side, you will honor these rules and treat our women as equals. Do you agree to our Etura's?" My mother stated and questioned.71
Major Fic, squirming in his chair, knew he had better say yes if he wanted to keep his life intact. But what he said next, shocked all.72
"No. I do not accept your Etura's. They are wrong and should not be upheld." He got up and started to run.73
Jasmine was proud of her mother and the other queens. They simply stood and glittered their hands for their powers and killed Major Fic right there and then. Doku carried Major Fic's body out of the bayni wall and closed the door. 74
Sighing, King Andu spoke, "Major Fryth, this is something of a problem. We needed a Major of statue in lead of scouting in their lands. Now we only have his lags." 75
"King Andu, I understand the severity of this issue. But you know as well as I do, we couldn't have trusted our lags with him. Our lags are both men and women. He would have treated them wrongly. We have to have someone that understand equality." Jasmine stated unworriedly.76
Queen Luna spoke, "Major Fryth is woefully right. We must have honor and dignity. He would not have upheld our traditions. He had betrayed his land, how do we know he wouldn't have betrayed us?"77
King Roman chimed in, "Well Jasmine, you have done it yet again. You have caused more questions. But this time I thank you for it. We needed this figured out before hand. You have two wuators before you set off. Talk to Fic's lags and find them a leader."78
"Yes your majesty." Jasmine bowed her head and left the building.79
The kings and queens were talking rapidly over what just happened. 80
The Picking81
Major Kendi was waiting for Jasmine when she walked out the wall.82
"How'd it go?"83
"Well, a lot better than last time." laughing, Jasmine hugged Kendi.84
Kendi kissed Jasmine softly on the lips than pulled back. "That's great. I saw Major Fic get carried out."85
Blushing from Kendi kissing her, Jasmine said, "Yes, he spoke one too many times in the wrong tongue."86
"Well he was a snake anyways. His lags despised him."87
"I can only imagine. Kendi, gather his lags in front of the bo~dink."88
"Why?" Kendi question, but immediately regretted it. He knew better. "Sorry Ma'am."89
"Hey! Don't call me Ma'am. We are the same rank and you are my best friend. You have the right to question me. Just no in front of the others alright? We have to pick another person to be major of that lag."90
"Oh." 91
"Yes I know."92
Jasmine left Kendi at the tunca and went to the bo~dink. She was going to have a heck of a time getting this done. As the lags filed in, Jasmine noticed one of the men. He was kind of like a woman in many ways. His nails were manicured, his hips were wider for a man his height and weight and his shoulders were narrower. Jasmine made a mental note to look at this soldier.93
"Major Fryth has asked for you all to come her and be judged for the Major position over this scouting lag. Now, everyone will list his name on this board. Just your last name will do. Last person to sign, raise your hand when done." Kendi finished saying.94
Jasmine stood up and watched the men sign. It was interesting to see their reaction to Jasmine taking her hat off. Her head was killing her. Everyone looked at her but that one soldier. He was the last to sign and had girls writing. 95
"Kendi please inform the lags to take a zunt and to not roam from this area. After you tem that, please come to my tune." Jasmine whispered to Kendi, walking into her tune.96
Kendi walked in while Jasmine was in the bath watching the board show her the men. Coughing to let Jasmine know he was there, Kendi sat at the table looking up at the board.97
"Kendi, did you notice the last soldier sign the board?"98
"Just a small glimpse why?"99
"He seems to be very womanly. The hands, the body shape, the signature."100
"I agree, but you are looking at his file."101
"Yes, but the solider isn't telling the truth. This man under the soldier’s name is deceased."102
Kendi getting up quickly was stopped by Jasmine. "No. I will take care of it."103
"But liars are put to death in this land." Kendi replied looking at Jasmines' soaking wet body.104
"I know, but remember what Fic said? Women are used for sex. If this is a woman, we must protect her."105
"Jasmine..."106
Wrapping her arms around Kendi, she kissed Kendi pressing up against him. "Kendi, trust me on this."107
"I've always trusted you but this could be bad for you. You have a soft heart..."108
"MAJOR KENDI! I demand you to bring me that soldier NOW!" Jasmine was glowing silver and red. Anytime her authority was challenged, she got this way.109
Kendi rushed outside. He was belittling himself. He knew better than to challenge Jasmine. Jasmine was the best in their class and had saved his skin more than once. Kendi got to the bo~dink and got the soldier. He didn't speak to him because he didn't want to upset the solider. 110
The Unmasking of Lady Ednato111
Kendi announced they were there and Jasmine was clean and fully clothed in her new ranking clothing.112
"Major Kendi please stand guard out front please."113
"Yes Major Fryth."114
As Kendi left, Jasmine got the board with the soldiers name on it.115
"Lutente Sackqu, I'd like an explanation of this line item here please."116
Lutente Sackqu didn't look up and didn't say a word. Just simply rose his hand.117
Jasmine stepped back grabbing her hice. 118
As Lutente Sackqu spoke, Jasmine froze. It was a woman.119
"There is no need for a hice. Major Fryth, my name is Lady Ednato. I'm from the third flank of.."120
Jasmine cut her off. "Third flank of Magical Goddesses." Jasmine couldn't believe it.121
"Yes. As you know, Major Fic would have had a cow if he knew the king and queen of his land brought me in to unmask his betrayal."122
Alarmed, Jasmine wasn't sure how to react to this information.123
"Do not worry. The king and queen know of your arrival and have asked for you and the three lags to come straight over. No scouting or standouts necessary. I will lead you safely through the lands." 124
"How do I know I can trust you?" Jasmine challenged.125
Laughing, Lady Ednato took off her soldier outfit and revealed her real clothing. Immediately, Jasmine knew this was the lady.126
"I apologize for questioning you. I'll lead you to the kings and queens of our land and you may share this with them."127
"Thank you Major."128
"If you'd like, you may call me Jasmine."129
"No. It is Major Fryth. This way we show the others, you are in lead."130
"Thank you Lady Ednato."131
"No thanks needed."132
Netoopu with the Kings and Queens133
"Your Majesties. I do hope you will forgive the intrusion. I have something that need to be Netoopued with your counsel." Jasmine requested. 134
"Proceed Major Fryth."135
"Your Majesties, I bring you Lutente Sackqu who is really Lady Ednato. She was brought in by her lands king and queen to unmask Major Fic's betrayal. I'd like to leave you with Lady Ednato."136
"Very well. Please leave us Major Fryth."137
Jasmine walked out the door knowing this could go either way. Good for them or bad for them.138
A few venuti's went by and Jasmine was getting nervous. But just as she began to get real nervous, Jasmine's mother called her.139
Walking in, Jasmine felt the air was of good cheer and easiness. 140
"Major Fryth, Lady Ednato will lead the three lags and you and Major Kendi will be the leaders. You must take counsel with Lady Ednato and she will bring you to the Norti and back to our Kingdom. Go with speed and honor. Good luck Major Fryth."141
"Thank you, your Majesties."142
Leaving the hall, Lady Ednato and Jasmine spoke freely and got plans set for their mun. 143
Road To Norti144
"Lags! We have a ten wuators mun to Norti. We are going to be traveling with the lead of Lady Ednato and we will not dewaddle. We must get there to get this treaty signed. No if's and's or but's about this." Jasmine spoke loudly and clearly.145
The lags hoorayed and got into their gobdons and mounted the cabnus. Lady Ednato motioned for everyone to head out. Lady Ednato chatted with Jasmine and Kendi as they took off. "Your lags that have women in them will not be welcomed. They must stay behind the gates as well as you Major Fryth."146
Jasmine motioned for the lags to stop. "Lady Ednato, I'm the commander of these lags. If the women aren't welcomed, than we do not go. Our uniforms are all the same. There is no verifying we aren't men."147
"Major Fryth, I apologize if I have offended you. I am warning you that there could be trouble."148
"We have magical force fields that cannot be penetrated and Lady Ednato, you said you could get us there safely and that is what I expect you to do." Jasmine spat heatedly. 149
"Again, Major Fryth, I apologize. You are a true leader. Your commanding is very honest. Please motion your lags forward and let's get there." 150
The lags trudged on and on. It seemed to take forever. The lags began to sing after about four wuators of silence.151
"Oh.. Oh.. Oh.. We are off again to another place in time we'll know of what's in store Oh.. Oh.. Oh.. off to the unknown to fight for land of no meaning off to battle oh.. oh.. oh.."152
Lady Ednato was shocked at the song. She never heard a lag sing so in tune and on key.153
Jasmine laughed, "Welcome to the lags of Griv. Where we sing on key and tell untold fantasy stories."154
Kendi chimed in, "Jasmine tells the best stories through poetry. Telling you now, she's amazing on story telling."155
Lutente Caper yelled, "STORY! STORY! STORY!"156
Which got all of the lags to chanting for a story. 157
Lady Ednato looked over at Jasmine who was blushing. 158
"Lags hush. I'm not that great."159
"Oh year right. And I don't play the guitar. You are the best." piped Lutente Andiv.160
"It looks like you have quiet a fan club in your lags. Let's hear a story." Lady Ednato said in a no nonsense sort of way.161
Really embarrassed, Jasmine didn't know what to do. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell a story or not. "OK OK. I'll tell the one about he lost soul. We've been riding for five hours anyways. Buck-itsva or break time."162
The lags rushed to get to tunca. Not that it was going to be a big one. Just a simple round up over a fire. Everyone was settled down with their dubs and ehavits (sandwiches and drinks).163
"Alright everyone. I'm going to tell you the story of the lost soul. But since we have some newbies in our lags, I'll give a little history of what this lost soul story means." Jasmine said.164
Everyone was giddy that knew the story. They knew it was a roaming woman that cried to be freed from the reality of death.165
Jasmine spoke clearly, "It was once said that there was a woman that wanted to be free from the reality of death. But not true death, mental death. So when the time changes the woman roams around."166
The newbies were looking at each other kind of worried. You could tell they had never been told stories like this before.167
Jasmine began, 168
"I wonder the wasted land of yesterday169
Feeling vulnerable to the anguish of thoughts170
Wanting to be thrown into tomorrow"171
Just getting three sentences out, the lags were on pins and needles.172
"Placed in the memories of tainted past173
To right those sorrowful wrongs, 174
Horror strikes my eyes as I see the crimes175
The murder of my friend was my fault176
I ratted her out to her "boss"177
To get a second chance to see her once again178
Dragged to the future to see her179
She's a crack whore of dreams180
To me, death is better than that."181
Jasmine looked up to see everyone looking at her with awe and enthusiasm to hear more. 182
"Want me to continue?" Jasmine taunted.183
Everyone screamed, "YES!"184
Chuckling, Jasmine continues,185
"She screams at the air186
Asking why her friends didn't give a shit187
Maybe if I let her live, I can help?188
Brought back to a hatred place189
The day of the murder, I push my friend out of the way190
Bullets fly and cop cars swarm 191
I hade my friend from the are192
She could kill me for telling 193
But thanks me for saving her"194
Everyone gasps waiting for more.195
"The scene changes to my ex-boyfriend's grave196
I drove him to a suicidal death197
He gave me life, I gave him nothing198
Floating to the future of him199
I see me with him and I am pregnant200
We are not happy together201
He is a fancy lawyer that's paid highly202
I'm an at home mom who is sad203
Cheating on me while I carry his baby204
Anger fills me as I see him cheat205
He is a lawyer for rapist, murderers, and scum206
Taking bribes from all the crime lords207

I choose not to change this past209
I just cannot let others get hurt.210
"Wow. Amazing." Jasmine heard the others saying.211
"Fighting to get to present time212
The reality that I'm stuck in no where213
Brings me down to a crumpled pile of tears214
Screaming in pain as the past comes back215
I see myself walk away from a college campus216
Knowing this was the day that the fire occurred217
I've regretted this day for a long time218
I know that this is something I have to fix219
Seeing as I never could forgive, I must learn how220
No heroic act could be done for this221
Just simply going out with the boy could help222
Maybe just talking and befriending him will do223
Going back to that time, I befriend him224
He is happy and I see that the fire will not be started225
The only thing is, the boy now has a crush226

Jasmine finished the story and sipped her drink slowly listening to the others talk about it. It was interesting to hear what they were saying about it. Some thought it was great some thought it was too morbid. But it didn't matter. She felt it was good. 242
"Major Fryth, may I have a word with you?" Kendi asked.243
"Of course Major Kendi. Lags, mount up and get ready to ride. We will be leaving in a few. Lady Ednato, would you so kindly watch over the lags for us?" 244
"Yes." Lady Ednato took her commanding position while Jasmine and Kendi left.245
"Major Fryth?"246
"Yes Major Kendi?" Jasmine felt awkward, Kendi had never done this unless they were in battle or when they were young and he was mad at her. 247
"I want to apologize for challenging you earlier. It is not my place to challenge you." Kendi said looking at Jasmine square in the eyes.248
"Oh Kendi, it is no big deal. We challenge each other all the time. Don't worry about it." Jasmine said looking away not even really caring about earlier. 249
Kendi closed the distance between he and Jasmine. He hugged Jasmine close and kissed her. They pulled apart and Kendi asked, "Have you thought about what I proposed about things for your birthday."250
Jasmine squirming a little, "Yes. But we cannot discuss this right now. Wait till we are back." 251
Jasmine and Kendi mounted up and headed out for Norti.252

this was long and good, this kind of inspired me to write another story series that i think i can turn to a book, thanks, i have to send you a copy when it is done since it was this that inspired. i am amazed with how Jamine and i tell a story, i love this story in a story, i honestly can't wait to see what happens next, i have some ideas of my own, but i would like to see further before like all great stories i start making a fanfiction in my mind. this is a great story. i mean i love fantasy and i love this. i mean,wow, this was an increblie read and i can't wait to see chapter two, keep it flowing

I hope that you go over this with spell check to catch all the typos - would make it a bit easier to read. I know it will catch all the made up names but there are some regular words that also need to be noted - there are also quite a few words that have been put together than need to be separated. Saying that, though, the story flowed well and once I got over the unusual names, enjoyed it. (Meeting Major Fic - "Already Jasmine couldnt ? the man - word missing there)
