Gnomes- ch.1

Down, down in the southern part of the universe, where the star galoptia and the comet 348345535 met, there was a little planet called earth.  Earth was a very small planet, but it was very troubled.  The planet was the most powerful in the whole universe, and the organisms on Earth were very mean to one another.  They were also very ignorant, thinking they were the only living things in the whole universe; however, they were wrong.  In the far right corner of the universe, right next to the gates of heaven, there was a planet called Gnomaniaz, a planet where Gnomes were the rulers.  These gnomes were all very smart, but not all nice(but they weren't as troubled as Earth).  The gnomes kept a very close watch on Earth.  They watched with troubled hearts as they saw what the humans did to themselves.  It made all Gnomes sad, but especailly one Gnome, Latherza.1

Latherza was a very small Gnome, with a big red cap and a long white beard, like a waterfall of white yarn.  Her face was as round as a basketball, with 2 little black eyes; kindness shone through her eyes like light shining through a window at dawn.  She looked just like every other gnome if you saw her, but if you knew her, she was different.  She was very adventurous and had the biggest heart of any gnome ever living.  When she saw the Earth for the first time, she ran out of the room, screaming, eyes tearing with tears like a river.  Her little heart couldn't take the evilness humans had.  From then on, she decided to help them as much as possible.2
