Betrayal ch 5

Tommy finally found Dylan before fourth block and asked, "Are you really gonna hurt Denise like that?" "I don't know anymore," Dylan said. "I don't really like Jessica, I still love Denise." Tommy looked at Dylan and said, "Maybe you and Denise should talk." Dylan shook his head and said, "She seems happy with you, man." "I'm not too sure about that," Tommy said. "I'll cancel with Jessica and I guess if you think its important for me and Denise to talk, she knows where to find me at the pizza palace," Dylan said, then walked off.1

Denise passed Dylan in the hallway. She swore that she saw a tear roll down his cheek. She quietly stayed a few feet away, she watched from a corner as he stopped at his locker. As he opened it she saw that he still had the pictures of them together. Denise felt a tear roll down her cheek as she turned and walked away. She realized she still loved him. 2

Tommy finally saw Denise and then he said, "Look, I'm not gonna hold any punches. I know you still love Dylan and he still loves you. So you are going to go to Pat's Pizza Palace and you are gonna talk to him." "Fine with me," Denise said. She just stormed away and sat through fourth block until the bell rang.3

Denise practically ran home and hurried to get ready to meet Dylan. Her heart pounded what seemed like out of her chest. As she stepped through the door to the pizza palace she thought for sure that she was going to faint as soon as she laid eyes on Dylan.........4
