Ghost Lover chapter 3

"Stop!"Kara boomed at the teachers. But nothing, she could almost hear the slight wind go right through her. "Was it possible for her to be seen? Just for a second?" She thought. How did other ghosts do it? If she could, she'd have to frighten them enough, this might take energy out of her. So she built up a lot of anger and she could see her ghostly body glow red. For the slightest second, she could see herself turn solid and the horrified looks on their faces. She disappeared into a transparent color and leaned against the wall. It was useless, she could only show herself for the slightest second and that wore her out. 1

But she saw the horror in their faces."What was that?"Mr.Torrente asked shockingly. He thought he'd just seen things but to prove it, he put his arm where she was. She walked into his arm, to see how he would he react. His arm was so warm, but she was cold and Mr.Torrente shuddered by her presence. "I'm not evil!"she screamed at him. Maybe it was her anger that made him shudder, so she thought about Tyder, and those precious moments she had with him. She felt unbearably warm and kept it. She put her hand on Mr.Torrente's shoulder and his hand went right through it. He was still warm, and now so was she. He smiled at himself, but it seemed as if he were smiling at her. "Good morning sunshine."he whispered. He used to say that to her with a bright smile. 2

Mr.Vitelli looked at him oddly. What was wrong with him, he thought. "Are you okay? You're talking to yourself or to that wall. Either way, it's creeping me out. Tell me, what are you're thinking that brings a smile to your face?" Mr.Torrente turned around to face him and said,"Kara." Right then, Mr.Vitelli knew right away what he meant and left the subject alone. It brought pain to him and didn't want to continue this burning pain inside himself. Tyder was just sitting there, not wanting to believe that Kara's spirit was inside that very room. 3

The paramedics rushed in and pushed everyone aside. "Where is she? The student? I'll need you guys to get out of the room so we can put the body in the body bag. There is no reason to try anything. Let me see her."One of the paramedics said calmly. He walked up to her body and checked for a pulse and looked for any marks on her body. Nothing, he couldn't find a trace of injury. "I don't see anything, but we'll take her body to the hospital to check the reason of death. But we need to take all suspects in for investigation. It's standard procedure. You understand right? This is just standard procedure."The paramedic said to the teachers. "Officer Winn here will take the suspects." They nodded and took the 5 suspects to the cop car. The paramedics took her body and put it in the ambulance. All the students crowded by the windows and some sobbing they're hearts out. But either way, that day was one of the gloomiest days they would encounter, but not the rockiest.4
