My idea of Death

I could not help running. Who wouldn't want to run? Death was after me! All my life I had wanted to meet Death, but at that time, I was running away from him! Its a weird feeling. You see, when you are about to die, Death comes to claim your soul, but you see, when Death is near you, the world disappears and everything turns black. Basically, you are running down a dark hallway. There is nothing special in it. I had not know that at the time. So, every second I was waiting for a monster or trap door to get me. I barley remember it now. All I can really remember is running and getting caught. I was sprinting as fast as I could. But I looked back and realized Death was standing right behind me. I can't explain how he got there, he just was. He placed his hand on my shoulder. Let me tell you something, if you hate life, you will despise dying. It is incredibly painful. And not just physical, its also emotional pain. It feels like you are being compressed into a small shape the size of a marble. After Death touched my shoulder... everything is hell. You see, there is no heaven. Just hell. But, its not all fire, its all pain. Everyone is on the ground huddled over in extreme pain. No one can even talk. It goes on for weeks. When it finally does stop... you are afraid to move. Because, whenever someone does get up, they burst into flames. All death is pain, I wish I had known that before I overdosed... A message to all, enjoy life, do all you can to stay alive, its not better. It is much worse.1

Interesting story and well written. Such a talent you are. I have a different take on hateing life; just to share. The will to live for all eternity should take presidence over enjoying this life or more specifically worldliness. This life is a trial for us to perfect love/humility so we can become one in Love/God for all eternity. Yes, run from death so you can ready your soul. I can see more good in you than I think you realize, not to tempt pride. Look to those who mentor the good. No can or will take you there but yourself and than you'll find courage as well.

Just one nit here. In your last line you have 'it' twice. Give a name to one of them. I'm not sure if you're relating life or death here.

this is really good for a 13 year old. i really enjoyed it. death has it's way with us all and when it comes we want it to leave again. we want to embrace in death and bleed onto the ground and hemerage to death but when your soul is taken, it's never for the best. great write.

Wow, good thoughts, I had really never thought about it that way. I mean, I never think about it really, just take life as it goes.
