Chapter 101

(in the Washington airport)2

“Yes! I’m finally here! I am so ready for this.” Victoria thought as she walked down the long, large hallways. She spotted a man in a sharp looking tuxedo holding a sign with her name on it.3

“Mojo, did you order a driving service for us?”4

“No, why?”5

“There’s a man standing over there with a sign that has my name on it.”6

“That’s probably him. Some people have odd ways of trying to trick others. Don’t avoid him, but don’t just address him directly. You’ll have to deal with him somehow though. I have an idea.”7

Mojo told Vicki his plan.8

“Alright.” Vicki responded.9

Vicki made her way into the nearest restroom and waited for there to be no one inside. Vicki then transformed into a bird. She flew back out to where Max was standing, and started pecking him. Max started swatting at her with the sign that was supposed to trick her. She then started outside and Max followed her. Once they were outside in the parking lot Vicki turned into a tiger.10

Max stopped and said, “Oh, so it’s you is it? Alright then, I have my own methods of playing this game!” then he pulled out a staff. It was wooden and perfectly carved into a cylinder. He began swinging the staff around with perfect execution as he doubled, and doubled, and doubled. There were twelve of him, and one of her. Vicki, still in tiger form, pounced at the original Max, but he disappeared, and reappeared somewhere else. Max was still twirling the staff. He then (with all of his bodies) swung the staff down on Vicki’s back, leaving her in pain. She then turned into a fly and buzzed around for a little while until she regained her health, and turned into an elephant, which landed on three of the Maxes, Thus wiping them out of the competition.11

“Nice trick, but I’m still here”12

Now, there were only nine of him, so she had made some progress. She then turned into a black cobra. Since she was impossible to see at night on the black pavement, Max was lost as to where she was. She then bit one of the Maxes legs, turned into a wolf, flipped, and hit him on the ground, hard, and then he dissolved into thin air. Vicki turned back into her human self.13

“You’re down to eight, buddy!” Vicki teased.14

“Not for long, little girl!” Max replied.15

Max started to move his staff again. Vicki turned into a kangaroo and jumped to kick one of him, but another came just in time to whack her on her side sending her flying to hit one of the cars. Not badly harmed, she got up, turned into a porcupine, and shot needles everywhere. The shot hit three more of the Maxes in the head, so that he was down to five.16

“So, this is how we will play, is it?” said Max.17

He then made a power clone of Vicki and got rid of all of his clones, so that there was only one of him. Vicki turned into a lion, and her clone did as well. They both pounced at each other. Vicki scratched her clone across the face, and her clone hit her across her back. Vicki hit the floor and returned to human state, but she got up again and turned into a bear which hit the soaring lion out of the air, and smashing into another car. The clone tried pouncing again, but she turned into a leopard and leapt into the air pounding the clone on its side, and sent it flying, where it landed right in front of Max. Max looked up at Vicki surprised, but not discouraged. He then made himself into five parts, and Vicki screamed in frustration. She turned into a horse and trampled two of them, and then switched into a bear and whacked two of them over.18

The one remaining Max turned to Vicki and said, “You have done well, but I will see you again.” And with that, he clicked a remote control, and a motor bike came. Max hopped on and drove away.19

“Found one more!” said a man.20

Vicki watched Max drive away and said, “That can’t be good. Yo Mojo, why is it that when I ‘kill’ one of him, it just dissolves like sand in the wind? There were about twelve of him.”21

“Well, if he can only make twelve clones of himself, theoreticaly If you kill one of him he would have to wait for three minutes before he would be able to replace it. So once you got him down to one of himself, I’m guessing he ran away?”22

“Yeah… How did you know?”23

“I’m a logical super genius remember?”24

“Oh, yeah.”25

“Anyways, Vicki, now that you have some time to get around, you’ll have to look for the street name, 'Penman Avenue'.”26

“Why’s that?”27

“That’s where we think your gem is.”28

“Penman Avenue? Alright, I think I’ve got it.”29

“Ask some of the locals, they might know. I think it’s south of where you are right now.”30

“How would you know tha…”31

“I’m an informational super genius.”32

“Oh, yeah. Which way’s south?”33

“Look at the airport and then turn about ninety degrees to your right. That’s south.”34

“Ok. I’ll be on my way then.” 35
