Chapter 91

(a few hours later in the New York, New York airport)2

“Wow!” thought Sammy, “This airport is huge! I can’t wait to get into the city! First though, I’m gonna need some food.”3

Sammy started walking to the food court, when he ran into something. He couldn’t see what it was, but it felt like a wall. Then he realized that there was some sort of force field in front of him.4

“Crap!” Sammy shouted. A tall young woman appeared out of nowhere right in front of him and slapped him. “Well,” he said, “that was unexpected.”5

“Hello Sammy! Are you ready for this?”6

“Bring it on! I’m too slick for you!”7

She disappeared and made a force field and threw it at Sammy. Sammy, now that he was acquainted with the look of the force field, liquefied to dodge it. He traveled along the floor in his liquid state right under Claire to make her slip. She fell to the ground and Sammy un-liquefied and stood up. Sammy was about to kick her, but made the mistake of looking into her eyes. Time stood still for a moment, and then Sammy realized that it was just him as Claire tripped him and gave him a good punch on his face. Sammy got up and jumped backwards to perform his double jump until he touched the ceiling. Sammy pushed off of the ceiling with his feet to dive bomb at Claire. When he was about to hit her, she disappeared and dodged it. Sammy, clueless as to where she was, stumbled about helplessly until he felt her kick his back. He hit a wall, but liquefied so that he couldn’t feel it. Sammy stood up unabashed and ran to where he felt her kick him. She was obviously no longer there because no matter where he swung a punch, he couldn’t hit her. Sammy felt a tap on his shoulder and she was standing right there. She tried to punch him, but he stretched a hole in the back of his mouth that her hand went through so that he wasn’t touched. After he sealed up the hole he swung a kick at her. It hit her right in the side and she fell over. While she was down, Sammy ran. He went behind one of the counters in the food court to hide.8

One of the people working at the fast food place walked over and said, “Can I help you?” in a very sarcastic voice.9

“Umm… Yeah, can I borrow that?” Sammy said as he pointed to the knife that the man was carrying.10

“No,” the man said, but Sammy took it anyways. “Hey! Come back here with that!” The man said as Sammy ran back to where he had last seen Claire.11

As he was carrying the knife, it slowly sank into his right hand.12

“Woah!” Sammy said as he stopped moving, “What’s going on!”13

The knife kept going into his skin. It was totally inside his hand now. He was really creped out and he tried to force the knife out of his body. The knife came out. 14

“Hey,” he thought, “Maybe I can use this to my advantage!”15

He let the knife sink back into the back of his hand and pushed it out just enough to have the sharp part sticking out of the gap in-between his knuckles. He experimented with this and found that he could push the knife in and out as he pleased. He kept it concealed and started running back to where he last saw Claire. Once again, Sammy was caught off guard by a strike on the back of his head. Claire reappeared and Sammy stood up, let the knife come out, and scythed Claire across her arm. Claire grasped her bleeding arm and threw a power shield at Sammy which sent him flying backward. Sammy shot the knife out of his hand directly at Claire. She tried to block it with a power shield, but she put it up too late, and the knife went directly into her stomach.16

Sammy stood up, and walked directly toward her as she bent over to take the knife out of her stomach. She threw it at Sammy, but he liquefied to dodge it.17

“This is not the last you’ve seen of Unseen Forces!” She said as she was bent over her wounded body and then disappeared.18

Sammy couldn’t see her, but heard her footsteps running away. He thought about chasing her, but wasn’t up for it.19

“We got a third here.” said a mysterious voice.20

“Mojo! I saw her!”21

“Not surprising. What did she look like?”22

“You mean other than amazing?”23

“Oh… Well yes, other than that.”24

“Well, she was about Phillip’s height, with blonde hair and amazing blue eyes. I think that she’s more powerful than she let on. And I guess that she calls herself ‘Unseen Forces’”25

“Well, did you have any trouble from anyone?”26

“Nope. I don’t think that any New Yorkers wanted anything to do with that.”27

“Ok, good. Now that ‘Unseen Forces’ is not in your way anymore, this is where I want you to check for your gem. Try Article Road.28

“Ok. I’ll get there ASAP.”29
