The girl walked out of her English class with tears glistening in her bright blue eyes, surrounded by her yellow-white hair that danced around her round face. Two of her supposed best friends had just admitted to her shocked face that they hated her. She put down her books and wiped her streaming eyes on her already wet sleeve of her gray, baggy sweatshirt. "Why?" she thought to her self as another wave of fresh tears threatened to come gushing down her face like a flood breaking dam. "What did I do?" the girl cried silently to herself. She gazed awkwardly in the floor-length mirror in the hallway, full of bustling students making their way to their next class. No one noticed her, and she suddenly realized how alone she really was.1
After school, she came plodding up to her friend Samantha, who she had known for all of her life. "Sam," she cried,"everyone said they all hate me!!" She, despite her promise of never crying again in school, starting weeping again. "Oh no!" Samantha whispered in a calming voice. "It's OK, I'm sure they don't mean it." 2
"Yes they do!" wailed Diana pitifully. 3
After that, they walked around school together, Samantha listening intently on Diana's woes; Diana told her everything- how she didn't know it was coming, how she thought they were all stupid and idiotic now. "It's OK," she'd murmer softly from time to time, letting Diana get it all out in the quiet of the empty hallway. 4
After Samantha's mom dropped Diana off at her house, she hurried up to her room and slammed herself down on her bed, looking at the Green Day posters she had hung around her small bedroom through blurry eyes. After awhile, she heard a soft knock on her bedroom door. "Diana, sweety, we're going to go rent a video now, do you want to come?" 5
"Fine" Diana answered glumly back, thinking that this day could not get any worse. She slowly picked herself up from her bed and stumbled toward her closet to get her pink, fluffy jacket(she only wore it when it was very cold out since it was SOO ugly, but very warm). She opened her bedroom door slowly and walked down her steps quietly and pulled her jacket on. 6
In the car, she had a quiet conversation with her mom about school, lying as usual. She said everything was fine, and nothing was wrong. When they got to the Video Store, she hopped out of the car, eager to go back home and watch a video to get her mind off of her horrible life. She quickly opened the double doors and marched inside, getting away from the nefarious cold that was baring into her skin. She shook her blonde head to get the snow off it. As she looked around, her heart skipped a beat; there, right in front of the sign that said new releases, was Matt.7
Matt was Diana's best friend(who wasn't a girl). She ran toward him and jumped into his arms. They collapsed on the ground, Diana on the floor and Matt on the Diana. "Diana?" Matt gasped. 8
"Matt!! My life is over! I have no friends!! Help me." She finished in a whisper. Matt helped her up pulled her cold body into his, whispering in her ear that she would never be alone- she would always have him, and don't ever forget it. 9
"Thank you" she whispered in a small voice as Matt wiped her eyes. She then, at this moment, realized that what he said was true- he would never leave her, and for that she was, and is, eternally grateful.10
Author notes
Ok, I wrote this for my friend, and it isn't all a true story. I know it's kind of bad, so I'm sorry!

the bestest portraying of my life EVER
Where we all are now....
I made up with some of the people who hurt me.
Samantha still hears everything that's on my mind.
I still miss Matt.
Matt is antisocial and doesn't talk, not even to me.
My life still hurts, but not as much.
