Untitled Mushy Story

1

There's always drama and teenage love. Evvie was young, no more than 16, still a baby to most guys, but she was in love. The boy, James, he was 19, gorgeous, and in the worst imaginable relationship. The boy's girlfriend, Kayla, was controlling, demanding, and overpriced. She wasn't a whore, but she always 'forgot' her money, and he could never say no.2

Evvie was just a frequent visitor to the record store, she always was buying CDs, and striking up conversation with James. Anyone could tell that the sparkle in his eyes only lit up for her. 3

Kayla wasn't happy with their conversations about anything and everything. Talk of bubble baths, broken hearts, and love was for couples, not someone else's boyfriend and a teenie dressed in Converse, jeans, and a My Chemical Romance tshirt. It was nothing but jealousy. That's were it all began.4

Most love stories start with 'once upon a time there was a beautiful princess.' This one doesn't. The heroine isn't beautiful, just pretty in the most subtle way with her pink hair and dark lined eyes. She wasn't one to stand out, but she always managed to steal the spotlight with her only passion. Songwriting.5

She wrote songs about everything. Her heart was usually in pieces, but it was coming back together for someone she didn't believe she had a chance with. James had heard a few of the songs when she convinced him to hand out her demos at the record store. He liked them, but he never knew his favorite just happened to be about him. 6

It wasn't until they'd known each other for almost three months that Kayla started talking trash. She knew better than anyone that James wasn't happy with her, and she knew he was going to leave her soon. Not only that, but for a 16 year old.7

The break-up came a few weeks later, and Evvie never understood why her e-mail inbox consisted of messages entitled 'payback's a bitch' or 'i hate you' or anything else along those lines. She kept going back to that store, and found out that the couple had split. Kayla was in that day, flirting with all she had in her. Something inside of Evvie crumbled, and she couldn't bring herself to go back to that store for three and a half months.8

Finally, internet orders got old and her list of CDs to buy was getting long. She braced herself for pain and visited that store.9

"Ev! I thought you'd never come back!" James said cheerfully.10

"Well, here I am!" Evvie said.11

It was just like old times. James explained how Kayla was gone and done with, and that she wouldn't be a problem anymore. Something happened then that everyone but Evvie knew would happen. In a way, they started a new chapter of a relationship that had to be meant to be. 12

Author notes

Ok. don't even ask where this came from. I guess i'll sum it up. This sucks because its me telling a true story. names, places, and ages have been changed, but thats not important. But yeah. Enjoy. P.S. i like the situation but i dont like this story.

It's always healthy to write about something the way you see it happening. I love this, it's an awesome start, and I can't wait to see as more of it unfolds if you add to it. I must say one more time that I love the name Evvie!
Keep writing, like I said, I love it so far.
