Images flash through my head. An angry note stuck on the fridge, the words, “Sorry I’m such a screw up. You won’t have to worry about me messing up your lives anymore.” Angrily scrawled across the paper. A dark road. A metal bar. Blood. And then darkness. 1
I open my eyes. Then immediately shut them. My head is pounding. “What happened?” I mumble, my hands holding my head in a vain attempt to stop its throbbing. Then I quickly open my eyes as I start to remember. “Oh my god, where am I?!” I say aloud, looking around the dimly lit room. As my eyes start to adjust to the dimness, I slowly raise myself up, being careful not to put too much pressure on my damaged shoulder. ‘Did someone find me and take me to the hospital?’ But I soon realize that wherever I am, it’s not a hospital. I sit up, realizing that I’m on a couch in the middle of a room. 2
“A living room.” I conclude as my eyesight focuses clearly. “It’s defiantly not a hospital…” is all I can mutter. ‘Strange,’ I think to myself. ‘I don’t see any windows.’ I raise myself up off the couch and start to walk toward one of the doors. I don’t know where I am, or how I got here. I just want to get out. 3
After careful thought, I conclude that I’m suffering from a concussion and all of this is just an elaborate dream. I’m so dazed and confused that I don’t even notice that someone else is in the room with me. And I certainly don’t notice that he’s coming up behind me. 4
Suddenly I’m grabbed from behind, my arms being forced down at my sides. The stranger pushes my head to the side and moves my hair away. His teeth come down, about to plunge into my neck. 5
“Cal!” Calls a voice. The stranger releases me and reluctantly backs away. Stunned, I lift my eyes up to see a young man, who looks to be a few years older than me, quickly descend from a staircase and rush over to me. 6
He walks up to me and moves my head to one side. Pulling back my hair, he examines my neck. I am either too stunned or too terrified to say anything. All I can think is, ‘Please don’t hurt me…’7
He then pushes my head to the other side, examining the other side of my neck. “Sorry,” he says, still searching my neck. “Just checking for bite marks…”8
The words ‘bite marks’ echo in my head. I knew something wasn’t right.9
“Didn’t he tell you not to touch her?” He asks the other one. The stranger merely smiles and shrugs. 10
“I couldn’t resist. I just wanted a bite…”11
The stranger, now named, rolls his eyes. “Relax. I didn’t bite her.” He then grumbled under his breath, “I didn’t get a chance.” Stephan looks back at me. I stand up straight and push my shoulders back, trying to come across as if I’m not afraid, but there’s no hiding the instinctive fear in my eyes. After a few moments, I find my voice. “how did I get here?”12
“I guess we owe you some explanations, huh?” Stephan says, still eyeing Cal. 13
I repeat my question, nearly succeeding in sounding firm and unafraid. But a hint of fear still lingers in my voice. “How did I get here?”14
Stephan looks back at Cal briefly before answering. “I’m guessing you don’t remember…”15
“No!” I fail to keep my cool any longer. “Where the hell am I?” I calm myself down, slowing my breathing and trying to shake off my frantic state. 16
Stephan sighs in frustration. “God, how am I supposed to explain this…?”17
Cal interrupts, causing me to turn. “Dark alley? Psycho guy? Staring to ring any bells?” 18
I nod, still uncertain. “Where am I?” I repeat, looking around suspiciously. 19
“Chill out, we didn’t kidnap you.” Stephan says, already knowing what u was thinking. 20
“Then how did I get here?!” I say angrily, preparing to defend myself should I need to. 21
“What a little…” Cal mutters. Stephan just sighs in annoyance. “What, would you rather he left you there?”22
Realizing they had saved my life, I allow myself to relax a little. But just a little. 23
Still seeing the look of confusion on my face, Stephan continues. “Listen, you were hurt. Daemon found you and brought you here. Any questions?” I stare at him confused. 24
“Who?” I ask. Cal speaks, causing me to jump slightly. 25
“Daemon, you’ll meet him soon.”26
After a few moments of silence, Stephan calmly explained, “Daemon found you. He brought you here. It’s okay, you’re safe.” But I didn’t feel so safe. 27
“When can I go home?” I ask calmly as possible, holding my head up to meet their eyes. 28
Suddenly, my head starts to pound again. I bite my lip, trying not to cry out as I sink back into the couch. “Ah, my head!” I whimper, squeezing my eyes shut to keep the tears from escaping.29
“That’s what you get for walking down dark alleys at one in the morning.” Cal smirks. Stephan ignores him and kneels down next to me. “Yeah you’ve suffered some trauma. But nothing too serious.” 30
As I start to remember my struggle with the man with the metal bar, I remember my shirt. The way it had been torn, half of my chest was visible. The rest of my clothes should be soaked with blood. After all, the head bleeds more than anything else. 31
I look down at myself to see that I am no longer wearing my old clothes, but new ones; the extra pair of clothes I had stuffed into my backpack before I left home. 32
“What happened to my…?” I start, panicking. But I stop when I realize that my old clothes would have been torn and blood-soaked.33
“Just trust me; these ones are better.” Stephan says. I nod, still unsure how to react to this. 34
Suddenly, I hear a voice coming from behind the couch where I’m sitting. I spin around to see, what I assume to be, another vampire. He smiles evilly at me before speaking. “So, I see Daemon brought home dinner.” He says. At the dinner comment the vampire made, I tense. So they really are lying. Stephan glares at the new vampire.35
“Do you have to freak her out more? God, I was just starting to get her to calm down…” 36
The new vampire shrugs innocently. “Aw, come on! I was just having a little fun with her.” Turning back to me, Stephan replies. 37
“Ignore him. You’re not dinner.”38
“And that,” Says Cal, leaning against the couch with his arms folded. “Is Taro.” Taro looks me up and down before answering back.39
“Pleasure to meet you.” He says, still examing me. I tuck my hair behind my ears, starting to feel rather embarrassed and nervous, though I try not to let them know. 40
“Speaking of eating, you hungry?” Taro asks me, standing in the doorway. 41
Not knowing what to do I silently nod my head yes. Taro smiles suspiciously. “Come with me.” He turns and walks through the doorway, then pauses, waiting for me to follow. “42
“Come on! I won’t bite.” I take one last look at Stephan before walking towards the dark doorway. 43
“Don’t try anything.” Stephan calls as I walk closer to Taro.44
“Yeah, yeah, I know.” Taro says, annoyed. “Why do you guys always think I’m going to do something stupid?”45
“Because you always do.” Cal replies flatly. 46
After throwing back an angry glare, Taro looks back at me. “You coming or not?”47
‘What am I doing?” I think. ‘I don’t know these guys; I shouldn’t alone with one of them!’ Even with my regrets I nod and follow Taro through the doorway and into a kitchen, hating how unfamiliar everything is. 48
I unknowingly walk into the kitchen first, in front on Taro. I spin around as I hear the door slowly shit.49
“What are you doing?” I ask suspiciously as I start to back away.50
“Shutting the door.” He says flatly.51
Sighing in relief, I stop backing away. “Oh. Sorry, I guess I just-“But I’m cut short as Taro grabs my arm and pulls me toward him. 52
I open my mouth to shout angrily, “Hey! What do you think you’re-?” But I’m soon interrupted as his lips meet mine is a kiss. The kiss is light but soon he pushes me up against the wall as it deepens. I start to tense, but I’m too afraid to push him off. He senses my fear and pulls away for a second, though still holding me to the wall. “Relax,” he says. “I don’t want your blood.” And with that he goes back to kissing me. 53
Taro’s hands start to slide down my thigh. Before I can push him off, a voice comes from behind him….54

Awesome.
haha, busted.
This is awesome, even betta than the 1st part. Some things didn't match up..
- “I guess we owe you some explanations, huh?” Stephan says, still eyeing Cal. Before hand, there's no mention that the other person is named Stephan. Easy enough to figure out though, its just every other character that comes in is introduced, stephan isn't.
Other than that, nothing was really noticably wrong.
Awesome Work! Nxt Chapter plz.
Keep Writing.
