From a cow

If I ever sat, upon the grass, among the fields of green.1

And did not munch upon that grass, then the field I did not see.2

For with my great black blobby spots, 3

And the red barn I sleep in,4

Do I yearn,5

For that sweet grass, among the fields of green.6

Author notes

Kim, to bad I couldn't have entered the other one.

this is really cute. i like that the cow appreciates what is in her own field, so it seems. very good write.

At first I thought you were "speaking" as a human, but was very relieved that you were "speaking" for/as a cow.
    Good piece of writing!
