The Fandalzo Men (chapter 7)

The crocodiles continued to chomp on the interior of the car, missing Luigi by inches. He kept tucking his legs out of the way, grabbing as many possessions as he could. But the crocodiles didn't give up that easily, they were getting closer and closer to Luigi, wide mouths opening and closing, Luigi was shaking, there was nothing he could do.1

Then all of sudden, loud gun shots were heard from above and the crocodiles fell down dead. Luigi looked up and had to move around a bit before the person came into view. It was Lance. Was Luigi having hallucinations? No. It was him, Lance Fandalzo. The whole guy in the room being stabbed wasn't Lance at all, it was a look-a-like, and the receptionist of the B+B was in on it too. It was to get away from Luigi, but he then thought he may as well give Luigi another chance.2

Luigi clambered out of the damaged car and on to a river bank,3

"LANCE!" he shouted, "LANCE!"4

He looked down at Luigi, and yelled back at him,5

"I can't help you now, you're 300 feet away from me!"6

"Don't worry, come down!"7

"OK!"8

Lance slowly came down the side of the waterfall, down some slippery rocks and walked across the shallow part of the river. The brothers gave each other a hug and both of them said,9

"It's so good to see you".10

"But...I thought...I thought I killed you?" said Luigi.11

"No, no, that was a whole act, I just needed to get away from all of this, so there was a look-a-like to fill in for me".12

"But then I killed him?"13

"No you didn't, he was wearing such padded clothing, you couldn't have killed him, he just pretended to be dead, he's a very good actor you know!"14

"Phew! I thought I really lost you".15

"Don't worry, I'm here now, and here's Danny LaBitro! The stunt guy".16

Danny walked into view and started climbing down the rocks, the same way Lance did.17

"Hey Luigi, I'm Danny, da stu-tun-tunt person, nice to mee-ee-eet you".18

Danny had a stuttering problem, and couldn't talk fluently.19

"Hey, hows ya doing?" he replied.20

"Oh, just fine".21

"Mmm, we gonna have to get you a new car, by the look of things", Lance said to Luigi.22

"Yeah, blimming crocodiles, it wouldn't be so bad if this river was filled with trout or something, geez!"23

And so the three of them walked down the river bank into the cool shadow of the cliff face, talking as they went.24

The Fandalzo Men are back in business!25
