My Digital World

The perspiring morn is upon me as I wake from my refreshing slumber.1

The digital clocks makes an alarming noise and I rise to my feet.2

I open my eyes to the HDTV-Set across the room.3

I turn it one to see the latest news broadcast on TV-43.4

Gaining full consciousness of the time and day,5

I walk into my bathroom and turn on my XM Satellite Radio as I shower.6

Metal sounds wave all around my house as the speakers blast loudly.7

Dressing myself for work and grabbing my essentials,8

Palm Pilots, TI-83 Silver Edition Calculator, Camera MP3 Flip Cell Phone, 9

Credit Cards, Erasable Pens, Lead Pencils, Digital Rolex Watch, 10

Portable DVD Player and Ipod Nano, I packed all this in my Laptop Case, 11

With my Dell Laptop with Wireless Satellite Internet.12

With all this I was ready for the day.13

I exit my house and set my ADT Alarm system. I pull into my,14

2006 Chevy Impala, my cool car with all of its advanced features.15

I turn on the Satellite radio and breeze through morning traffic.16

As I arrive at work I get to my work station and start my computer.17

I then pull up my advanced programs.18

I had to design an ad for an advertising company.19

I also had to turn in my illustrations for a children's book, Abe the Cat.20

Send an email to my boss containing my latest sketches for a comic.21

To top it all off I have to finish the graphics for a video game.22

My life is full of designs and wonders, thank god for technology.23

As I end the work day, I travel in my car to my favorite hang out spot.24

The Dark Cafe, a beautiful coffee house and poetry reading place.25

I drink my French Vanilla Late and read works composed by Poe.26

Then I drive to my favorite music store to check out the latest Cd's.27

They had all kinds of music there and all sorts of games as well.28

I purchased a brand new PlayStation 3, very expensive,29

Also very fun. As I left the store I received a call from a love of mine.30

His name was Kevin and he was so cute, I put on my wireless, cellphone,31

Digital headset and listened to him talk as I talked to him. I took a 32

Beautiful picture of the Ocean Views from the phone as I was talking and 33

Sent it to him and he told me that I had a gift for seeing beauty.34

I arrived home and to my dismay I received so many voice messages,35

Also so many emails. I got on my Laptop and began watching36

My favorite film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I plugged in my 37

Surround Sound Speakers to that I could hear everything loudly and clear.38

After a while I realized I was hungry so I paused my movie, 39

Set down my laptop and looked into my fridge.40

Not Satisfied with what was in my fridge, I got on my desktop computer to41

It is so neat of this advancement, you can order food on the web,43

Then you pay for when they deliver.44

I applaud whoever came up with this idea.45

In 30 minutes time my food was delivered and I paid.46

Delicious Chinese Delicacy I was enjoying. My hunger was satisfied.47

At 10:00 p.m. I realized that I was tired and I dreary from my day.48

I retired to sleep after putting on my clothing.49

I sleep ready for my day once again. 50

I love my life as it is going every single day, cause without51

All the technological advancements, I wonder how primitive52

This day would have been.53
