A flip on a Dream

The young maiden brushed her copper hair away from her bronzed skin and looked into the sky to where her majestic dragon swooped in to land.1

Azhiril was a fine specimen of a dragon he had a strong masculine body covered in silver translucent scales which shimmered in the moonlight, his eyes were truly doorways to his soul and glittered with starlight. The maidens name was Alarnia and she was the only human on this world, she mounted herself on Azhiril's back and clicked her tongue for him to raise so she could have a full view of her land. 2

"Let's go Azhiril, the faerie queen will be waiting and you know how her majesty hates to be kept waiting" Alarnia was fluent in all of the worlds languages from the majestic dragons, Mischievous Nymphs to the Drunken Leprechauns and honerable Centaurs. She knew all the languages and was therefore very useful in translating for the many races.3

Azhiril soared into the clouds and gracefully swooped down close to the land, Alarnia lept from the beast and land nimbly on her feet and headed straight for the entrance to the faerie palace.4

"Ishan nomai selarequey" The faerie queen greeted Alarnia with the same greeting each time which meant 'You're late Word monkey'5

"Du-Liy shesen Alsermai" Alarnia replied meaning 'Queen your word is my duty" even though Alarnia had no respect for the Faerie queen he still ahd a certain need on this world and that meant being docile around the more regile races.6

The conference between the Faeries and Nymphs was a tenuous one as the Nymphs were very big on practical jokes and the faeries were somewhat professional. Alarnia was very amused though also very bored because this was a conference to decide the wood rations that the nymphs would supply for the faeries.7

"Telen unmay carlel, dushai parhes relesen calomnai?" The Faeries light angelic voice chimed8

"Gretnok Shalver Trentor, Prasney Frews Harlkter?" Alarnia translated for the nymphs9

"We need 30 acres of land to build homes, How much will you need?" Alarnia also had to translate for the human speaking occupants, such as the Leprechaun mediator.10

"Greshter Lelsin Kraktraf Mesno?" The nymph laughed and gave an evil smile11

"Lulie shai nomanas dilars canyu?" Alarnia could predict where this was going, one thing she loved was knwoing what the conversation was about before anyone else.12

"30 acres of land how deep are your pockets?" She said for the leprechaun13

The faerie was not impressed this happend everytime she dealt with the nymphs and leprechauns they were so undignified and unruly not like her race at all.14

"Kayel prelei densha nosur farnen taleyma" The faerie queen was about ready for this to end, Alarnia could tell by the lack of diplomacy in that last comment.15

"Dook tar nes shafklar menst sereflek kren" Alarnia was enjoying the look of shock crossing the nymphs face16

"You insolent speck of dust you are lucky we do not crush you" At this point the leprechaun mediator burst out laughing and fell off his chair.17

The conference lasted almost 3 hours and the most excitment was when the nymph leader threw his tiny chair at the faerie queen and knocked her over. When it had finished though Alarnia was able to take Azhiril out for a flight over the spirits forest which was positively beautiful when it was mating season. The females searched for men by glowing in a fluorescent colour and realising an amazing echoing song which filled the mind, unfortunately it wasn't mating season so all you heard was arguing.18

After her long day out she was beginning to get tired so decided to reside to her cottage atop a hill which was built precisely for her so she could be in comfort while she served the races. She climbed into her big woodden bed and pulled the overstuffed cover around her neck then closed her eyes and let her mind wander out into the night searching for something more exciting than the life she led.19

Author notes

Ok so this story is kind of crap i wrote it as i went (yeah that sounds right) The deep underlying meaning to it though it supposed to be a different view on our dreams
I am always hoping i will dissappear to this world which i created, i tried to write a story which would point out a possible con of me going there.
Anyway hope you enjoy

I liked this piece..." 'You're late Word monkey'" is a great bit of word monkeying...please excuse me for being a Proof-reading nerd but..."...Alarnia had no respect for the Faerie queen he still ahd " I think you meant SHE still HAD".
"...around the more regile races..." thats spelled REGAL
"...one thing she loved was knwoing what..." KNOWING
    "...big woodden bed..." WOODEN

please excuse what might be to some a certain pickyness on my part, but it just goes to show you that I read your piece carefully...I loved this, "... unfortunately it wasn't mating season so all you heard was arguing."...great line.

and wait, in ""Telen unmay carlel, dushai parhes relesen calomnai?" didn't you spell calomnai wrong?

    Interesting

I think that is a world many of us would try to escape too. And you did grasp for a meaning. Maybe it wasn't practical, but it doesn't alway have to be. I enjoyed it.

    Well....

Well... This was very interesting and especially the translation thing. but I don't think that this is what I asked for although it can be accepted. I asked for a hidden meaning like... the importance of life, value of friends, right behaviour of people and something like that... This story was very interesting, trust me, I am fair enough. You can try again if you want. If you have any questions... feel free to ask me.
