The Final Chapters of Enemies, Friends, & Lovers Ch 24-27

After Tyler got off the phone, he looked at Sean and Nathan. He chewed on his bottom lip and Sean asked, "What's wrong?" "Tessa wants to know what's next, she misses me and Ethan. And Ashley's writing you a letter, Nathan and Sally's just in the same state of mind as Tessa," Tyler reported. 1

"Well from what I understand, Victor is on around the clock watch at his grandparents house. So I think it would be safe to bring the girls home," Nathan said. Tyler looked thoughtfully at Nathan and then looked at the clock. It read 11:45 pm and he was exhausted. He knew that Sean and Nathan were as well. "We'll get them in the morning," Tyler said. "Its too long of a drive and I'm tired." So the guys went to bed, knowing the next day they would be surprising the girls by bringing them home.2

Around nine forty-five the next morning Tyler got up. He called his mom and told her that they would get Ethan probably the next day. She didn't mind, she understood the situation and told Tyler that Ethan was just playing with his cousins. Tyler longed for him and Tessa to be there to be with the family. 3

Sean and Nathan got up about ten minutes later and they decided to leave right after they ate. Tyler couldn't eat. He was pacing the floor as Sean and Nathan quickly ate their sausage biscuits. "Tyler, you're gonna make a big hole in the floor," Nathan joked. Tyler grinned and then sat down and said, "I can't believe that I've been without my cuddle bunny and son for three days. Its bothering me." 4

Sean and Nathan finished eating and then they left. Tyler was going about 80 in a 75 zone. "Tyler, slow down," Sean said. "We want to get there safely." Tyler slowed the car down and had Nathan to turn on the radio. 5

Nathan turned the radio on and Tyler came close to crying. His and Tessa's song was playing. He just softly sang along and wiped the tear that was falling from his eye. After the song went off, Sean and Nathan went, "Aaawww!" Tyler laughed and said, "I was not crying. The wind was irratating my eyes." The guys laughed and chatted and then realized they were just an hour away. 6

Chapter 257

Tessa impatiently slammed the phone down. This made the fifth time she had tried calling since eleven this morning. "Still no answer," Ashley asked. "Exactly. And usually he would call and tell me that he wouldn't be home," Tessa grumbled. Sally looked at Tessa and said, "Maybe he didn't have time to call." "That may be it, but I have no idea," Tessa growled. 8

About forty-five minutes went by when they heard a car horn. "What the....ITS THE GUYS," Sally shrieked. Tessa literally pushed Sally out the door and Ashley ran out there with them. Everyone was hugging and kissing and was just reunited. 9

They all went inside and talked about what was going on with Victor. "So his dad is moving to a different state, Victor's going with him. This time he's not coming back."10

Finally Tessa begged to go to Tyler's mom's house so she could see Ethan. They drove the five hours and was had an emotional reunion there. Sean, Sally, Nathan, and Ashley left a little while afterwards to go kick back. 11

Chapter 2612

Nathan read Ashley's letter and was touched. The whole situation had made her realize how much she couldn't live without him. Nathan wrapped his arms around her and said, "You'll never be without me again. I love you." "I love you too," Ashley cried.13

Sean and Sally did get engaged two nights later. They were tired of waiting and letting little things get to them. They realized that their love was more important than anything.14

Tyler and Tessa finally got married! The wedding was beautiful and so full of emotion. They went on a three day honeymoon in their cabin and Tessa became  pregnant with twins. Ethan was growing up and already had his first little girlfriend. Tyler and Tessa looked at each other and knew that Ethan would be a heartbreaker when he grew up.15

Not everyone lived happily ever after. Victor died in a car accident about three months later. The friends got together to remember him. Both good times and bad.16

Ch 2717

Everyone gathered at Tyler and Tessa's. Ethan was sitting in Tyler's lap. "I wouldn't change everything that we've been through as friends and even enemies," Sally said, glancing at Sean. "And its hard to believe some of you have became lovers," Tessa teased lightly looking at Nathan and Ashley.18

Tyler poured some sparkling punch soda in wine glasses and made a toast. "To a life time of happiness of being friends, enemies and lovers." Everyone laughed and drank to it!19
