Revenge of Sophia (part 15)

Sophia held the sword closer to Clouds throat. She whispered into his ear "You should go down to the bottom of the crater. I think you might like whats down there. After all, you have wanted to come face to face with this for a long time. I think I'll let him have you. We'll all be happier then."1

With that, she released the sword from Clouds throat, before walking infront of him and punching him, directly in his stomach, causing Cloud to fall to the floor, winded. With that, Sophia took off, down to the depths of the northern crater.2

When she got down there, Sophia realised that the others were struggling to keep Holy in one spot. Holy was a powerful white magic, which the ancients often called upon when they felt the planet was in trouble. Sophia managed to secure the magic for a little while until Sephiroth came by and sealed it into a small grove. They all had a plan. Any intruders that came down, would face Sadie and the Sephiroth clone together, in Sadies demonic form. If that didn't hold them back, they would then face the master. Sephiroth, in all his glory, and his most powerful form, the seraph angel which the whole angelic world feared. Sophias job was to prepare the mother, Jenova, for the first confrontation in the crater. 3

As Sophia had finished her preporations, Cloud and his party approached.4

"I see you decided to follow. I knew you would," Sophia said to them. Cloud had his hand on his sword, ready to draw if Sophia were to attack. Sophia looked at Cloud, who had remained silent, and began to chuckle. She then smirked, as she began to hover in the air. She raised her hand.5

"Prepare for the battle of your life Cloud. I'll tell you now, this is not an easy ride. Mind you. I think Sephiroth will be disappointed," She said to him. With that, Jenova came down, and Sophia flew down to the very bottom of the crater.6

Sophia had decided to hide away during the course of the next couple of battles. She had been watching Cloud fight Jenova, his sword attacks were pretty powerful, alongside the ultima attacks, and the limit breaks, she was beginning to think that maybe Sephiroth would get to fight the blonde. Sophia wanted this, just as much as her master. At that moment, she noticed Cloud coming down to the crater bottom. She also noticed Cloud freeze a little when he saw Holy. It was as though the death of the young ancient girl had just happened, except this time, Sophia was not smiling, she was angry. She watched as the clone confronted them, and then as the battle began, how Sadie had allowed him to transform into a demon along with her. Sophia and Sephiroth watched as the battle went on for what seemed like an eternity, but after many hits, and downfalls from both sides, Sadie eventually gave in, and as she turned back into her human form, the clone collapsed to the floor, dead.7

Now as Sephiroth emerged in his angel form, Sophia went to aid Sadie in trying to revive the clone, however, all their efforts faied. Sophia began to watch the major battle, as Sephiroth cast wall on himself to protect him from the attacks the party were giving to him. For ever stroke of the sword that Cloud gave to Sephiroth, built up an energy inside the angel, and when the energy was at its strongest, Sephiroth let out a fearsome attack, that appeared to destroy the planets in the solar system, and posess the sun. This caused great damage to Clouds party, but they got through it. Eventually, Cloud slashed Sephiroth with his sword, and the events that unfolded, made Sophia panic. The angel seemed to freeze, and wither away. Cloud had started to make his way back up to the surface, but Sophia would not allow that. Her master was not dead yet, so she sent out a message to Cloud. 8

Come and get us. You really think we can be defeated that easily, heh heh, hes laughing at your pitiful attempt to beat him, and with that, Cloud soon reappeared at the bottom of the crater.9
