Dear Danna Hobart,
3

I have a novel I’d like to submit for your consideration. It’s of the mystery/love story genre. The two main characters find themselves in a unique situation as Gary, a police lieutenant, investigating the murder of the wife of a prominent local executive meets Mitzi, a reluctant witness, and they immediately find themselves drawn to the other. The situation is complicated by the presence of an old friend of Gary’s who is now a prominent local TV reporter, a female police sergeant who has her eye on Gary, and a drug dealing college student who is strangely entwined with more than one of the other characters.4

Gary faces his differing feelings for the three females while struggling to solve a case which is obviously open and shut, except for the story of the witness, who he is quickly falling in love with.5

The story builds through the investigation, the entanglement of one of the characters with the college drug dealer, to the climax which involves all of the characters in a bizarre ending.6

I’ve written short stories all my life but this was my first novel, originally written about 5 years ago and edited several times since then.7

Please let me know if you’d be interested in hearing more about Gary and Mitzi and their unfolding adventure together.8

Best regards,9
