Freedom and Hunger

Once a lean, thin and very hungry tiger stumbled upon a stout and well kept pet dog. He asked, "Brother how come are you so well-fed. I, being a superior animal, have to roam about all day in search of food, but cannot even arrange for tow square meals." "Oh! just do what I do! It's just as simple..... just look after the property of the master." piped the dog. "Oh!Yah!" sighed the Tiger, "Is it so easy?!" "as it sounds..."1

Then suddenly the Tiger's site fell on a colourless band of fur arround the neck of the dog. He asked, "What about that band around your neck?" "Well...." said the dog..."It is the place where a band is tied during the  day. I'm kept tied to chains all day long... but at night I'm free to roam about." "No, No, No..." said the shocked Tiger, "I'll never stay tied to chains. The pain of not being in freedom is thousands of times greater than the pain of roaming about in hunger. I'm sorry to say my friend that I don't like this kind of life." and they bade each other goodbye on that moonlit night.2
