Blessing a Spirit Weapon

This is a blessing for a weapon, can be used for an actual weapon in reality, in which is already linked to your soul, or to you personally, though for personal use, I use this particular spell to strengthen my spirit weapon, and I recommend the same, if you have one…many people confuse a spirit weapon for a magically blessed weapon, but let me define my version of a spirit weapon.1

A spirit weapon is a personal weapon that has special significance to you, and more often than not, finds you instead of you it, it is a weapon used either for protection in the astral realm, or used to help with spells cast therein.2

I personally use this spell as a blessing if I feel I am about to go into battle, though its been a while since I had need for it, I can say that honestly the effects vary from being able to link your soul to your weapon and wielding it more powerfully, or it wielding you more magnificently.  As to the use for actual battles such as those done on the mortal realm, before going into battle and maybe you have reason to believe your life may be on the line, I recommend using this spell to help your spirit weapon, then connecting your spirit weapon to the weapon in reality that you use, the two will weapons most often work in correlation with each other, though if you are using an attack weapon, I recommend your spirit weapon to be similar.3

As to the actual spell, this is a simple meditation type spell that uses both the astral sense and the physical one in correlation of one another.  Basically you are projecting your astral self and intertwining it with both the elements and the weapon of choice, it will help if you have both cleansed both the weapon and yourself before doing the ritual, to keep any darker taint from seeping into the spell itself.  You will basically need whatever weapon you are trying to bless, weather a spirit weapon or an actual weapon that has a close connection to your soul.  I can’t honestly think of any extra elements needed other than those of the storm I am about to describe…though if you are blessing an actual weapon of sorts, I recommend also having a sentimental, or spiritual item that has significance to you, to give you some sort of relative grounding for you soul, so to speak.  As to the actual necessity of this spell, it is required to be both the elements of Air, and Water…now, I can’t honestly explain how I do this…just that I do it, try to understand this is more of a meditation ritual and you must actually input your own desires into the spell, so I can’t truly tell you of any incantations or such to help, but I will tell you that it helps to be in a rainstorm, when doing this spell, it gives more relation and a closeness to both elements…the storm I used recently was a storm with more than twenty mph winds, and a gentle soothing rain…I recommend similar, understand the more powerful the storm, not necessarily the more powerful the outcome, basically you wish to have a natural connection to both wind and water.4

THE BLESSING:5

Alright here it is, to my best ability, I hope it isn’t annoyingly stupid or confusing, which I feel it probably will be, but here goes.6

First, find a safe position in which you are in the storm, have the wind and water preferably hitting your face…though it is not necessary, the key here is to just feel the wind and water…clear your mind of all distractions, pull a personal meditation ritual and use it to focus your inner spirit, as you have your weapon with you, have it in your hands, or in your astral hands, connecting your soul and the weapon, gently feel the water, and connect it to the weapon seeing the water in your mind, surrounding the weapon, focus on the wind, and focus on it wrapping around the weapon, and then inter link the three images of your weapon, of the water, and of the wind…pull them together, and then project your astral self five or so feet in front of you, envision that person holding the weapon in an attack stance, as you prepare for this next part, it helps to feel a bit of aggression and incorporate the power of anger into your actions for they will give a certain strength to the spell…next you will take the weapon and your astral self will jump high… the relevance of height is important, it depends upon what realm your magic takes place upon, going from the lowest to highest, I will try to describe their need7

If you are associated with the negative plane, you will not jump high, but sink below the earth as far as possible, relative jumping to your realm of personal strength.8

If your relation to magic is on the earth realm or if you are actually holding an actual weapon, then you will see your self jumping by your mortal limits, and no higher than you could in actual reality9

If your magic relies on the elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, or Water then your height can be any where from the ground to the clouds, but powerful imagery is needed with connection with your element for it will help associate such with the spell.10

If you have an association to a Higher Plane, a positive plane, then you will need to jump to your plane, seeing yourself jumping to that plane and then coming back11

If you have an association with space or planetary magic, then it will help to associate that planets pull with the spell, and also jumping to the planet itself…12

Now once you have jumped to your relative position, you will then fall or descend/ascend  back to the earth where you currently are, seeing yourself hit the earth, see the effect of a crash landing or a meteor falling upon the earth, see how the earth would absorb the hit, well see this in your mind, and as the earth absorbs the hit, take the energy that is given off from the earth, and mix it with the wind and air, feeling the elements, and pulling them into your mind, use them to wield into your weapon, take the energies and absorb them through the weapon into yourself, doing such reverse the energies as if you are going to send them back the way  they came, as you do this pull the weapon close to you, and see the weapon becoming one with you, as you and the weapon merge, feel the elements wrap around in you, form them into the image of your weapon, and then ask the elements of Earth Water and Wind for their blessing, do this however you feel comfortable, I recommend simply calling the symbols of each element to mind, and vocally or astraly speak to them, asking for their guidance and aid…when done, rise from your meditation, give thanks to whatever deity you worship, and carry about the plan of the day…13
