Enemies, Friends & Lovers ch 23

Victor was drunk and depressed. His buddies wasn't there and the other guys hadn't showed up yet. He knew that he had caused a lot of pain and misery in people's lives. It was time to end it all. But first he would write a letter.1

To Whom It May Concern,2

I have done too much wrong in my life to even try to make things right. I'm sorry to the one's that I've hurt and caused so much pain and misery to. I hope that one of these days you'll find it in your hearts to forgive me as I pay my time in hell.3

He left the letter unsigned and then found a razor. He took a deep breath and then stopped. The door opened and it was Sean and Tyler. "What are you doing," Tyler asked. "Go away. I'm doing everyone a favor," Victor said quietly. Sean and Tyler looked at each other with fear. Sean then grabbed the razor and letter and said, "For one thing, we need to get him sobered up and thinking clearly. This isn't the way we want things." 4

Tyler got Victor in bed and asleep and sighed. He just looked at Sean and said, "Now what?" Sean shrugged and said, "I just don't know." Tyler read the letter and said, "He needs help. Serious help." "Yea that's the truth," Sean said quietly.5

The next morning Victor woke up with a hangover. He drank some coffee and didn't talk much. He was just still miserable. Finally he just said, "I need help." "Then let's get you the help you need," Tyler said. 6

Sean called a counselor and got Victor an appointment. Tyler went to a pay phone to call Tessa to let her know what was going on. "What do we do now," Tessa asked. "I don't know yet," Tyler said. "I just don't know."7
