Left to die part 1

She looked up at the sky and what she saw took her breath away. The blue seemed to melt with pink and suddenly she felt so small underneath that huge sky with trees towering over her. 1

Her head was pounding, her legs were aching still she kept fighting, she had to. She wanted to run like the wind, forget everything and everyone. She needed to escape into her world even if only for a few moments. She closed her eyes and felt like she was soaring over the trees and into the darkening sky.2

“Hey Allison, what’s with you?” Ali was forced back to reality by Shelly, her best friend. She wanted to open up to Shelly and tell her everything, she was going to find out sooner or later. Ally still couldn't bring herself to tell her. She had hinted, well slipped but Shelly didn't pick up, she thought Ally was joking. 3

“Nothing, I was...ummm... Just lost in thought”, Ally struggled to reply without totally lying.4

“Sure whatev Ally, I’ve known you too long to fall for that. Are you going to be OK?”5

“Yeah……..I’m going to be………OK” Ally tried to convince herself that everything was just fine.6
