Dreamer Goes To School

Today Whitney woke up and she was very excited!  It was Show and Tell day at school.  She was going to take Dreamer as her Show and Tell subject.1

She woke up early and went to the barn.  She gave Dreamer a big hug and started brushing Dreamers fur.  Dreamer we will have so much fun at school today she said.2

When they were ready she climbed on Dreamer's back and off to school they went.  3

Dreamer could not go inside the school so she waited outside until Whitney's turn.4

Whitney sat very patiently while her classmates showed all of their Show and Tell subjects.  She giggled to herself when little Mike showed everyone his pet frog.  His frog could not do any tricks thought Whitney.5

Finally it was her turn and she led all her classmates outside into the schoolyard.6

Everyone looked in surprise at a calf eating grass in the schoolyard.  Little mike said "A cow, I can not believe you brought a cow to Show and Tell".  Girls are so stupid said Mike to the other boys.7

After the teacher got everyone settled down Whitney began her story.  She told everyone about how Dreamer came in second at the fair and how Dreamer saved her from the coyotes.  Then she saved the best for last.  She began the story of how Dreamer learned how to play Frisbee and that they won the town contest that year.8

Of course the Mike and the other mean boys did not believe her and laughed at her.  Her friend Allie said to her "boys are so mean""come on Whitney lets she Dreamer in action".9

With that said Whitney reached into her backpack and pulled out a Frisbee.  Are you ready Dreamer she asked her calf.  Dreamer nodded her head and started running.  Whitney let the Frisbee fly and Dreamer jumped up and caught it with ease.10

Everyone started clapping.  Even mean Mike told Whitney that was great.  After school Mike asked Whitney if he could walk her and Dreamer home.  she just laughed at him and hopped on Dreamer's back.  Without another word she and Dreamer rode off down the road.11

"Who needs mean friends like him when I have you Dreamer" said Whitney.12

Let him play with his frog all he wants.  I love you Dreamer, said Whitney as she put him in the barn for the night.13
