Revenge of Sophia (part 14)

After what seemed like forever, Sophia heard a large bang. Her first instinct was to look up. Surely enough, as she looked up, the barrier had disappeared. Sophia knew it was time to get ready for the biggest battle she would ever have in her life. She wondered if she should tell her master, yet she had the feeling he already knew. At that moment, he appeared beside her, his emerald green eyes glowing with both anger and happiness. The fact that the humans were coming had made him angry, but the fact that he could punish them, maybe even kill them for what he had suffered pleased him greatly.1

They all knew that all they had to do was wait. They had Jenova, and now they had a plan. Whoever came down, would end up facing Sephiroth in his toughest form, if the got through Jenova, the clone and Sadie. Sophia was there for moral support now, yet she wanted to get involved aswell.2

Sophia decided to go up to the surface of the crater and wait for the first humans to arrive. She was going to intimidate them and then attack them, however, she was not going to kill them. She had the feeling that she was going to face Cloud once more, a one she tought of as a blonde idiot who didn't have a clue who he was, or even if he belonged with the humans. She secretly hoped that the shinra would be the ones to get there first. She really wanted to hurt Hojo. However, she had wanted to hurt Cloud alot more, and she knew her master did aswell.3

Sophia noticed an airship coming in. One of the shinra airships, the Highwind. a little further down from the surface, waiting for the shinra to emerge from the airship. However, when the occupants of the airship arrived, she got a surprise.4

"Cloud???" she said. She had not expected to see that blonde idiot in the airship. Had they joined forces with the shinra?? or had they stolen the airship. As the others piled out, she then realised that there were no shinra members, she chuckled slightly,5

"Wow, did stealing that airship take all your wit?? Well I know what you are here for. You're not going to suceed this time blondie. I will make sure of that, as I am sure your nemasis will too. Though he may thank you slightly for giving him the black materia. I doubt it like. For now though, you are mine."6

With that, she drew her sword and pointed it directly at Clouds throat.7
