Tennessee Whiskey and Sapphire Dreams Chapter 6

Diablo stood at the bar waiting for his bride. Thor put some money in the juke box and when He saw Sapphire at the top of the stairs. He played " It's your love".2

Sapphire smiled at Thor her wedding attire consisted of a pair of white jeans, and a green Tennesse Whiskey shirt. Her mother stopped at the end of the stairs where Diablo walked up to and waited for her. He took her hand and they stopped in front of Lylah.3

Sapphire tried to listen to the words but was thinking of her strong handsome Diablo, within minutes they were married, Diablo captured her lips with his as she became his wife.4

" I need to tell you all something." Diablo spoke as Thor broke out the champagne. Everyone started sitting at the bar as Diablo placed his wife on the stool beside her mother.5

" Sapphire, darling, Your father will never bother you again." Diablo promised as Durango and Thor filled champagne glasses.6

" Yea, right." Sapphire spoke sarcastically making Durango speak softly.7

" He is telling the truth. I took Diablo to the prison where he told your father that if he didn't leave you alone, he would introduce him to Manson Rhodes." 8

" Manson Rhodes?" Sapphire asked with suprise. " Why does that name sound so familiar?"9

" He is the man whose thirteen year old daughter was kidnapped, and raped by a man who got out on parole after spending three years for his crime and Manson kidnapped him, tortured him by beating him, and then castarated him. Manson got life in prison." Emerald told her making Diablo look at her in amazement.10

" I cheered him on in his defense. I also sent a donation of a thousand dollars to his lawyer to help pay Mr.Rhodes fees. I am sorry but I approved of his actions, although I was afraid of my own husband." Emerald spoke with pity.11

" He became a good friend of mine when I was investigating Pete Washington. His daughter resembled Maggie Myles. We talked for hours that day. He told me of his divorce about two years before his daughter died, and then we spoke of that day. He said he might have could handled it had the man recieved more than ten years. Manson told me that when he heard the guy was coming up for parole after serving only three years, he snapped so he kidnapped him, and took his revenge. He is a very nice man."12

Diablo spoke making Sapphire remember the case better. 13

" I sent him money also for his defense, I applauded him all the way."14

Sapphire admitted to them. " I am sorry, He was temporarily insane."15

Diablo smiled at her. " I would like you to meet him, I have went several times to visit him."16

" I would love to meet him." Sapphire told him honestly. " I think that would be great."17

" Would you still think it is great if I tell you that I made a promise to him." Diablo lowered his voice a little making Sapphire strain to hear him.18

" What promise would that be, Husband?" She asked with a look of question in her eyes.19

" I promised Manson that he would be my children's God-Father." He announced as he took another swallow of his champagne.20

" Sounds like a winner to me. I mean they are going to have six uncles so they need a God-Father." She kissed his cheek.21

" Thank you, I know now why I married you. You are the most giving woman I ever met in my life."22

Thor kept playing the music, they took turns dancing and at one time Sapphire and Lylah was alone. 23

" This may sound blunt but you do know that Thor is totally smitten with you?" Sapphire asked her making Lylah look up with eyes open wide.24

" I knew he was always friendly but I never knew that he liked me like that I thought it was a friendship thing." Lylah spoke softly. 25

" I have always adored Thor until he called me a broad." Lylah confided in Sapphire. The two women were giggling as Diablo walked up to them.26

Diablo asked her if she was ready to leave, and Sapphire nodded to him. 27

He picked her up and carried her out. They had already put the bags in the car earlier. He drove off with the cans clanking on the ground behind them.28

He drove them to the cabin, parking the car then got out picking her up from the passenger seat. He carried her in his arms across the threshold and she realized that now both of their lives had just begun.29

" We have an appointment at the prison tomorrow morning. I sat it up while I was there." Diablo told her softly as he sat her on the couch.30

" Sounds great to me." Sapphire smiled at her husband. He wore tight black jeans and a white button up shirt.31

" You sat and rest I am going to unload the car, then I am going to cook you some supper." Diablo spoke lovingly as he planted a kiss on her lips.32

" I will darling." Sapphire laid back resting her still sore legs and arms.33

Diablo unloaded the car carrying in their bags, then looked at his fiery haired bride. She was so tiny, and been through so much he hoped he could be a good husband.34

He smiled to himself as he walked into the kitchen. He began to move around preparing their supper. He had gotten one of his friends a few miles away bring some food and clean it up for him. Diablo was so involved in setting a romantic atmosphere that never gave time another thought until he was finished and looked at the clock.35

Sapphire felt the lips move across hers, she opened her eyes finding Diablo leaning over her with a smile on his handsome face.36

" Dinner is ready, darling." He spoke with such tenderness that she wanted to weep to be lucky enough to find love.37

Sapphire stood up and they walked together into the kitchen where she spotted the newly decorated table. She smelled the aroma of their dinner and realized she was hungry.38

Diablo poured their wine as she looked at the food on the table. Sapphire loaded her plate with steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. She took a helping of broccoli casserole and also a roll. She would definitely eat tonight. They spoked softly of different things while they ate their dinner, and Diablo realized to himself that this was the first true conversation they had ever had together.39

Diablo took their wine glasses and the bottle back into the living room where they sat on the couch.40

" I was so scared today." Sapphire admitted to him " I thought I had lost you."41

" I did too." Diablo murmurred to her. " When I realized who had kidnapped you I was scared I would lose you before I could save you. Pete was a very sadistic man."42

" I knew that when he admitted to raping those women." She responded as she moved closer to him to sit in the curve of his strong tanned arm.43

" I couldn't believe it when Durango called, telling me where you were."44

Diablo loved holding his new bride.45

" When I first saw Durant I thought it was you until I noticed the different features." She traced his jaw softly with her fingertip then pushed him back on the couch. He smiled looking at the lust filled glow in the her blue eyes.46

Diablo laid back watching her pick up her wine glass. She opened his shirt and tipped the wine glass letting it trickle to his chest. She leaned over letting her tongue lap at the wine. He felt his temperature rise, as her mouth caressed him.47

She stripped him of his clothes, and he laid in all his glory. She continued teasing him with the wine, letting it drip here and there, then lapping it up. He could only tolerate so much, he grabbed her stripping her of her clothes before he pushed her back.48

She giggled as the wine hit her breasts but the giggle turned into a moan49

as his tongue carressed her breasts. Diablo licked the wine off of her body, as he moved between her legs, needing her love tonight. He entered her making her moan as she raised her hips meeting him thrust for thrust until they both were losing since in reality lost in the climatic outerspace of emotions. 50

Diablo picked her up and moved to the bedroom where he claimed her body again in the wonderful throes of passion.51

The next morning Diablo reached across the bed but it was empty, he got up pulling his jeans over his masculine body and went in search of his bride.52
