The woman sits sipping her coffee, longing for something. The waitress comes by and takes a seat.1
"Are you waiting for someone?" the young girl asks.2
"Yes, I believe I am." the woman replied.3
"Would you like some more coffee, or something to eat."4
"That would be lovely."5
What can i get for you?" she questioned in a gentle voice already knowing the answer.6
"I'll take some more coffee and a bagel, with strawberry cream-cheese."7
The waitress got up and walked to the kitchen. The woman at the table looked around at the paintings on the wall, all of which she was sure she had seen before. The waitress walked by, filling the peoples coffee cups, and when she arrived at the table again she left one cream and two sugars for the woman, making sure she only filled the cup three quarters of the way.8
"Thank you very much." the woman said with a smile.9
"You're quite welcome Marie." returning the smile she had received.10
In the restaurant each table was clean. The people there got their place settings as they sat down. At Marie's table it was an exception, it had been set for two, even before she had arrived to meet someone.11
Time slowly passed by and no one came to sit at Marie's table. By now her bagel had come and she had finished it. A short while after she had finished she was approached by the waitress yet again and Marie asked her for the tab.12
The young girl responded, "That's fine miss, it's on the house."13
"Boy that's quite a treat. Thank you dear."14
"It's not a problem, I appreciated your company."15
"And I yours. Good day to you now." Marie said as she got herself ready to leave.16
When Marie had left the waitress was called over by a man to his table.17
"Who was that woman?" he asked.18
"She is Marie. She comes here every day with the same intent. Meeting someone is what she says. Getting a cup of coffee at nine and sitting until ten thirty when she orders her bagel. Then always leaving at eleven o'clock. Though, she never looks at the clock and seems to know exactly what time it is."19
He thanks her and continues with his mean and the waitress goes back to work20
The next day Marie was back and continued her routine. Ordering her coffee and leaving at eleven. A week goes by and it is constant. The same man is there and questions the waitress how long Marie has been coming. She tells him that it's been three years now (to be exact in four days it will be three full years).21
"And has anyone ever come to meet her?"22
"Unfortunately no."23
Marie has a condition where she remembers only one day. The day before she started coming to the restaurant. She was supposed to meet someone there but they never came. This is why she is there every day.24
Four days later Marie comes to sit down, but there is a man in the seat across from where she sits. The same man asking the waitress all of the questions. Marie sits down and they share a wonderful cup of coffee and an even better conversation. She orders her bagel with cream-cheese and pays. Not leaving at eleven this time, but staying until their conversation is complete.25
The next day a news paper is delivered telling of Marie's death. She died in her home and was greatly loved by all of the people working at the restaurant. The man meeting her must have been her calling.26
It is now sixty years later and the booth where Marie sat each day of those three years has a plaque:27

Wow. I really like this piece!! I hate to be a parrot, but it does really remind me of 50 First Dates (you have to see it!!..it's got Adam Sandler, so I'm sure you could handle it
) This piece is very sweet and very loving. I can't exactly explain why I love it so much, but I do, and you know that, and I believe that, my dear friend, is the point =P You did a great job!

Story time. You now how to express using the short story form quite well it seems. This story is incignificant compared to your other two though. It seems to resemlbe "50 First Dates", with a slightly different spin. Not that original.
