What Happened?! (Onze)

Amber and Mrs. Delia went down to the lobby to get some fresh air. All of this tension was beginning to break them down. What would Amber do without Jos? She knew he was her heart. What if he didn't make it?2

"Mrs. Delia, I'm sorry." Amber said while holding back the tears that whelled up inside.3

"For what sweetheart? You haven't done anything but be there for Joscelin through all of this. I'm so happy that he has you."4

"I just, I feel like this is my fault." Amber said not able to hold back the tears any longer.5

"AMBER! This is NOT your fault. It's not anyone's. Joscelin couldn't help wrecking, and he's gonna pull through because he loves us. You know that. Just have hope and pray to God that he is strong enough to pull through."6

"What am I gonna do without him? Ms. Delia, he's my heart. He's my world."7

"You're not going to have to live without him sweetie; he will pull through. I know my son. I know that the last thing he would want to do is hurt you, and that would kill you."8

"I love him..."9

Amber and Mrs. Forte started on the journey back to the OR waiting room. They had restored each other's hope. They just knew they wouldn't lose Jos now. He was too strong a person.10
