Anchor person, Angela Dwyer:  "This just in; we have breaking news3

from the northern part of the state just outside Saragosa.  Sarah Jacobs is live from the area.  Sarah?" 4

Sarah:  "Hi Angela.  As you can see there is fire blazing all around us. It's a frightening picture as I stand here attempting to shelter myself from the huge balls of fire literally falling from the sky.  At first law enforcement thought it to be a volcanic eruption, but the volcano is too far away to have caused this much damage here.  This, so far, is the only area we have heard from.  People are running and screaming in a virtual panic, running for their lives.  It's horrendous, Angela, and officials are figuring it to become much worse and to spread out to other areas.  Back to you." 5

Angela:  "Thank you, Sarah.  Can you tell me anything about what they are thinking it might be besides the volcano?  Surely someone has some idea of what it could be." 6

Sarah:  "Not sure yet, Angela.  They're just really frightened, and everything is being lit up with fire as this phenomena continues."   7

(Whizzing down from the sky, a smaller ball of fire hits close to Sarah and her camera man.  A scream emits from Sarah as she scrambles for her life.  The picture is choppy when her camera man hits the ground trying to evade being hit.) 8

Angela:  "Sarah, are you alright?  Ladies and gentlemen, you are seeing live what is going on.  If you just tuned in, you can see that we have balls of fire seemingly falling from the sky.  If anyone knows anything or can help in this news story, there is a phone number at the bottom of your screen.  Call in if you are in that area and can shed some light on this breaking story.  Sarah?  Are you still with us?" 9

Sarah:  "Yes, barely, Angela.  That was a close one!  My camera man and I have moved away from the area we were standing moments before we were nearly hit by a fiery rock.  It looks now that we can at least call it a rock.  That's what it looks like to me.  Perhaps a geologist will be able to help.  I have a call in to one right now." 10

Angela:  "Well, Sarah, it seems that we have some information from a geologist on the phone right now.  Dr. Fred Carlson is with us on the phone.  Dr. Carlson, what is your assessment of the situation?" 11

Dr. Carlson:  "Angela, we've got a team of scientists and geologists on their way to the region as we speak.  It is believed that this could be a meteor storm that we didn't expect.  Usually we can figure out when and where months, even years, before something like this happens.  Of course, the earth is always subject to an experience like this, but we've been fortunate that they've all missed us so far." 12

Angela:  "You're saying, Dr. Carlson, that no one saw this one coming?  Would you not assume that this should have been expected so that we could have planned for it?" 13

Dr. Carlson:  "I'm sorry to say that this one just appeared out of nowhere.  Not one of my colleagues that I've spoken with has been able to tell me anything yet.  We're still working on it." 14

Angela:  "Thank you, Dr. Carlson.  I hope you'll stay with us so that you can assess the situation as it continues." 15

Dr. Carlson:  "Of course." 16

Angela:  "Sarah, how are things on your end?" 17

Sarah:  "Getting worse, Angela.  There are people dropping to their knees and praying, yet the fire balls keep dropping all around us. We're not even sure that we'll now be able to get out.  The fire is so close that it has nearly made a circle around us."   18

Angela:  "Perhaps you should get out while you can.  You can stay in touch while you get out of the area." 19

Sarah:  "That will be our only course.  As it is, we have a very small area of the road left that we can see, and I'm not so sure that we'll get through that safely."20

(Sarah is shown getting into the driver side of the van while her camera man is still taping.) 21

Sarah:  "I'm going to try to get out of here Angela.  I'll report as I drive, but I'm just not sure what will happen.  Ahhh!  (Screams escape Sarah as she is barely missed by a fire ball).  Oh, that was very close, Angela.  I'm going to have the camera man tape what we're running from and switch occasionally to where we're going."   22

Angela:  "That certainly seems a frightening situation, Sarah.  Folks, we're live on the scene in the northern area of the state up near Saragosa where balls of fire are seemingly falling from the sky.  We have a live feed to Sarah Jacobs and you are looking at the scene that seems to be right out of hell itself.  Dr. Carlson, are you still with us?" 23

Dr. Carlson:  "Yes, Angela, I'm here.  We have a couple of geologists out there now attempting to assess the situation.  Things aren't looking good.  It seems that these fire balls are literally falling from the Heavens.  My colleagues have managed to find one that is no longer on fire, and it seems that it has very strange composites that are not known to either of them.  They are attempting to get those to a lab as soon as possible."   24

Angela:  "Dr. Carlson, do you think this is the fire from the Heavens spoken of in Revelations?" 25

Dr. Carlson:  "Oh, I don't know about that Angela.  Looking at this as a scientist and a geologist, I don't necessarily believe that theory even exists.  I'm sure that this is nothing more that a meteor shower, as I said."   26

Angela:  "Thank you, Doctor.  I'll be back to you in a moment.  We've been watching the excitement from Sarah's point of view, and now, we'll be going back to her for an update.  Sarah?" 27

Sarah:  "I was listening to Dr. Carlson, Angela.  I'm not so sure that this isn't the fire falling from the Heavens.  I've not been religious, but being in the middle of something like this will certainly be enough to change one's mind.  We are still driving away, and the balls of fire are still falling near us as if they are following us." 28

"Oh, my GOD!  I know you won't believe this, but there is a huge swarm of bugs, much like locusts, that are swarming everywhere.  Are you getting the picture of this, Mike?"  (Mike shook his head to let her know that he was indeed getting it.) 29

Angela:  (in a frightened voice)  "Sarah, what's going on?  I don't understand what you're saying." 30

Sarah:  "Angela, I'm telling you that this is the end.  I believe this is the end!"  (The station suddenly loses the lead to Sarah and her camera man). 31

Angela:  "Sarah?  Sarah?  Where are you Sarah?  Ladies and gentlemen, we have temporarily lost Sarah.  We're sure to get back to her in a few minutes.  Let's go back to the doctor and get his assessment of this new development.  Doctor?" 32

(No sound from the doctor)  "Doctor?  Doctor?   We've lost connection with the doctor.  We are now on the phone with David Blackwell who seems to know a few things about the situation.  He's been talking with our producers.  David?" 33

David:  "Hi Angela.  Hello world.  I just wanted to let you know that Sarah was correct.  This is the end, and we are all doomed for our hedonistic ways.  I hope you have said your prayers, Angela."  (A fireball suddenly tears through the building of the news station and lands in the middle of the anchor's news desk.  One horrid scream pierces the air.)   34

Author notes

I chose to write about an event that is spoken of in the Book of Revelations.  Fire will fall from the Heavens.  The locusts were only thrown in as a teaser.

Thank you, Beth. Although, as Bonnie pointed out, the "teaser" of the locusts IS truthfully our of place for the seven seals, it was put in ONLY as a teaser. I'm glad you liked this. Love, Gramma ♥

Of course, Sis, you are correct. I put in the locusts only for effect. I do know where they belong, and I do know that this is what will happen. I have no doubts that many will burn in this fiery onslaught because of false prophesies. I always appreciate your comments, Sis. If nothing more, you will keep me straight. Love, Patricia

Well, Sweetie, who knows what will happen. Many truly believe that this is what will happen, and according to the King James version of the Bible, this WILL happen. However, a revelation is merely a look into what can happen. I, myself, tend to believe that this will happen in time.

I appreciate your reading and commenting, Sweetie. Hugs, Patricia

    TRUTH

Done your homework, Sis! The only discrepancy is that of the "bugs." Fiery hail and earthquakes are the 7th plague, the only one poured out as Christ crosses earth's skies from east to west.

Nevertheless, I wish more people would understand that Christ's return will be like this and not as the great whore and her harlot daughters are falsely prophecying: that Jesus will reign here for 1000 years. It breaks my heart that 90% of the world's population will be destroyed for lack of Truth, but worse, for refusing the Truth when they heard it.

This is a winner and should be given the Gold: for you've spoken the Truth, whether the readers want it or prefer to assume it's fiction. GOLD, TRUTH

Lots of love and hugs, SisB♥n
