Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed my monologue. Something like that has been drifting around inside my brain for a bit and I'm glad I got the chance to write it down. It really is difficult to say these words. Some just hand them out like jelly beans from the sixth grade on. I was very careful and waited until I was 29 years old. That was 42 years ago and I say them to that same person every day.

Love the ending! So true how you can have everything planned out for something, but then when that moment comes, you can just forget all your rehearsal. And the first part was really funny, I can so see somebody thinking all those things... if not saying it aloud to themselves!
