The voice that was strong and stunning. Yet, it gave off the essence of shyness nervousness, and uncertainty. Quickly thrown back to reality the book swimming back into view. The words became words and not just a jumble of letters in the back of her mind. It gave her a nice shock that awoke something in her that screamed "LOOK UP!"2
She peered over the edge of the novel to find a stout guy, easily taller that her. His hair was the color of a moonless night, a deep jet black. It was as curly as it was black. Every strand of hair seem to be wrapped in a curl. A single curl come just right above his eye. It was cunningly parted on the side. She peered deep into his eyes. She saw through to his soul. It was full of pain, hurt, and rage.3
She knew he could see into her. He would find the same. He had a single gleam deep down in his soul. It was a sparkle sort of, that was filled with hope. Hope for what? His skin was a milky white. It was beautiful. It was like a dream come true. He was the perfect guy for her, so she began to hope. She fell in love with a stranger with a shy voice and a deep rage in his eyes, that were like hers, a deep emerald green. A pasture green that seemed to go on for miles.4
Taking in the physical description of the stranger she had just met, and fell in love with (looks and soul) she spoke.5
"No, I don't." She closed her book and set it aside folding the corner as she done so. She stood up and wiped her butt off as she did so. She held out her hand.6
"My name is Shaylynn." The beautiful stranger took her hand.7
"Michael." He spoke to her.8
His voice became smooth and gentle. Not as rigid when the words came from his soft luscious lips. They shook hands. She felt as if two worlds came together as they did so. A deep silent understanding came between them although they knew nothing of each other, it felt as if she had known him all of her life.9
She instantly forgot herself. An immediate giddiness came throughout her limbs. A numbness that was so sudden that she blushed. The feeling made her realize that she was in love with this Michael. She knew that if they were to be together it would be something special. Something no other highs school relationship would have- true love. 10
She smiled at him. She tried to suppress the flirtatious smile that played across her lips. He smiled back, he also seemed to try to suppress the same smile, but it looked as if he gave up, and it shone through.11
She was embarrassed by all the black she was wearing. She used to be so proud of the clothes and the scars they hid. Now she felt humiliated and guilty. Her weight gave her grief, all through her life. She was even bulimic for a while. She gave it up when it started to become a problem. 12
She knew she was in love with him. She had been hurt many times before this one. She was willing to take the leap again and wander if she was going to hit hard. She knew if this one didn't work out she was going to land on the ground and stay there.13
She took her hand away. The feeling was gone, though not completely, being in his presence made her feel good that he was still there. Her soul yearned for more of this new feeling. Some happiness remained deep within her.14
The smile was still on her face as well as his. This looked as if it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. 15
