When some people hear that some one is gay they say all horrid things people move away people will cross the road to avoid them people kill people because the are gay or a lesbians.1
i got Friends that are lesbians and gay you don't see me crossing the road or saying i don't want to seat next to them.2
when my friend told me that she was gay i did not treat her any different at all she my mate i and i love her for how she is and nothing would have changed that. people were not nice to her after this it got round school some how and the other Friends that she had told some of them did not hang out with us as much this mad her so upset and down and this put us down me and my other friend. 3
gays are no different to me and you they just want to get on with there every day life so if someone tells you they are gay, just be there for them support them don't just walk away it hard for people to come out my it took my friend 4 years to tell me and my other Friend 2 moths but i still treat them the same and i still love them as Friends nothing has changed there 4
so if any one every needs to talk about this Stout just email me because i helped my frond throw t so 5

i dont see y people like ave a go at me people just coz dey like people of the same sex! it aint like there fault and i feel people should b able to have free will and do wot they want wen dthey want and not care wot othas think!

yes this is a sensitive issue, even though it shouldn't be. Who cares if someone is gay, i don't in fact i wish them the best in life. They chose that path and should be allowed to get on with their life without finger pointing or discrimination....i personally know a few friends that are gay and i have no problem with that whatsoever. Good on you for writing about something that is classed as controversial.

The topic was really powerful and it is true what you said about people treating gay people differently when they shouldn't! - it's not like they have a contagious disease or anything!!! Quite a few people in my year are gay but no-one treats them differently - and so they shouldn't!!
However, i would've found your poem easier to read if there was a bit more punctuation in it!

hey this is a really strong topic youve written about, just check the spelling errors and then it will be even better, one of my close mates told people she was gay a few months ago and people at school are also saying nasty things, its just because they are insecure and don't know how to deal with people they see as different, it really does sicken me, really good write.
