Dreamer Goes To The Fair

Whitney was so excited, her mommy just told her that they were going to the fair and she could bring Dreamer along.  Dreamer was going to be in a blue ribbon contest with other ranchers calf's.1

She ran out to the barn to tell Dreamer.  Dreamer was happy even though she had no idea what a fair was.2

Finally the day came and everyone got in the truck to go to the fair.  After a long drive they arrived at the fair.  Whitney was so excited she could not stand still.  She danced and giggled around the truck until her daddy got back with the tickets.3

Here he comes, Here he comes shouted Whitney as her Daddy walked back to the truck.  4

Inside the fair her mommy told her to stay close to them.  There were so many people there.  Whitney could smell cotton candy, corn being roasted, fried chicken, and so many other wonderful smells.  Her Daddy and big brother took Dreamer to the stalls to groom her for the contest, while Whitney and her Mommy went off to ride the rides.5

After riding the Ferris Wheel and the Bumper cars Whitney and her Mommy went to go get something to eat.  While waiting in the cotton candy line, Whitney saw a clown walking on stilts and turned to watch him.  Everyone laughed when he went by and pretended to stumble.  6

After watching him for a few minutes Whitney turned back and realized that she was no longer standing by her Mommy and got scared.  7

While her Mommy was calling her name, poor Whitney could not hear her because of all the noise of the crowd.8

She was so scared, so many people around and she could not find her Mommy.  She sat on a bench and started to cry.  Suddenly she heard her Mommy calling her name and she ran to her.  They hugged and then holding her Mommy's hand they went to see Dreamer in the Blue Ribbon contest.  9

Dreamer finished in 2ND place and was so happy when Whitney came over and kissed her nose.10

After a long day at the fair Whitney crawled in the back of the truck and fell asleep with her head on Dreamer's belly.11
