Good-bye.1
Good-bye life. Good-bye to you, family and friends. Good-bye, my love. Good-bye to long talks about nothing. Good-bye dreams, good-bye closeness between two hearts, a love so pure. Good-bye writing, emotions. Good by music and art. Good bye, Living.2

Good-bye, scum of the earth. Good-bye hate, racism, good-bye, world wars, good-bye, terrorism. Good-bye, each and every one of you, tormentors, misers, evildoers. Good-bye, vile creatures, harmful diseases . . . Murders and crimes in streets sodden with pain and sorrow.4

If you've ever seen/read Our Town (by Thornton Wilder), you should remember the monologue that Emily gives before she goes back to her grave. If you don't remember, it goes like this7
"I didn't realize. So all that was going on and we never noticed. Take me back -- up the hill--to my grave. But first: Wait! One more look.8
Good-by, Good-by world. Good-by, Grover's Corners. . . Mama and Papa. Good-by to clocks ticking. . . and Mama's sunflowers. And food and coffee. And new-ironed dresses and hot baths. . . and sleeping and waking up. Oh, earth, you're too wonderful for any body to realize.9
Do any human beings ever realize life while the live it?--every, every minute?"10
That second paragraph is what this is supposed to be modeled after-ish. We had to do it about what *we* like about life, about what we'd miss. . . And the second one is what we wouldn't miss about life. 11
Just thought I'd tell you exactly what this is supposed to be. . . It was my homework for English last night, which would be why I wrote it.12
Author notes
So uh, yeah. . . I wrote that for my English class, if you didn't notice, lol. It's not that good, cuz like. . I truly don't like what we had to write, lol. . But, I thought I'd post it on here anyways.
