Untitled for now....

The rain was like needles on her back.  Their tiny points prickling her, pelting at her, stabbing her.  As she ran through the forest, her long, brown hair soaked with this rain, she looked at the ground so that the rain wouldn't blur her vision more than it already had.  She heard a soft voice, as light as a whisper, coming from behind the willow tree.  She turned around.  "Hello?"  No answer.  It was just the wind playing tricks, she thought.  She turned around and started walking again.  1

Another whisper.2

"WHO ARE YOU?"3

More whispers.  It sounded like there were four of them, at the least.  "WHO ARE YOU?" she screamed.  There was a slight tinge in her head.  No more whispers.  The rain had stopped suddenly.  Not a sound surrounded her.  She thought it was strange that the rain had just suddenly stopped, but she thought nothing of it.4

The light tinge became strong, taking over her mind and body as she fell to the ground.  All things faded.5

Darkness.6

*7

A light.  A small light in the pit of this darkness, forcing her to awaken.  This tiny light shone brightly on her.  This was an unexpected light because usually no light came through the tunnel, but Yunjin did not know this.  This place was quite unfamiliar to her.  She looked wildly around, frightened of this unknown place.8

Whispers.9

"Hello?"10

More whispers.11

"WHAT ARE YOU?"12

One of them walked into the light, showing his face.13

A strand of long, light brown hair shadowed his face, one eye covered.  The eye Yunjin saw, however, was a brilliant electrical blue, almost entrancing her gaze.  He had a long, think scar on his left cheek.  She was curious about the scar, but she was afraid to ask him about it.14

Yunjin sat in wonder at this man but snapped back into reality, determined to know.  "Who are you?" she asked, almost forcedly.  "Does my name really matter?" he replied.  "Well... why am I here?  How did I get here?  Where did YOU come from?"  she asked, panicked.  "Let's leave that pleasant story for tomorrow, shall we?" he replied sarcastically.  "Rest.  You're going to need it."15

He started to walk away.  16

"Wait!  At least let me know your name," she said.17

He turned his head slightly towards her.  "Goodwin," he responded.  He walked away into the darkness.18

How could Yunjin sleep when so many thoughts were speeding through her head?19

She heard the now familiar whispers and slipped back into darkness.20
