Revenge of Sophia (part 13)

Sophia opened her eyes. All seemed calm now. The shinra had gone and so had Cloud and his little group. Even the weapon monsters that had recided in the crater for since anyone could remember had gone up to the surface. She looked over at the clone, who was staring at the sky1

"We did it, yet I don't feel satisfied," the clone said to her.2

"Thats because Cloud is still out there, probably planning on coming here," she told him. The clone merely nodded, before walking into a small cave, leaving Sophia alone, looking at the sky. The sky was no longer clear as day, as it had been, but now there was a meteor visible, large red moon looking rock in the sky. 3

"Impressive isn't it," a voice said from behind her. Sophias first instinct was to look over at the cave the clone had gone into, for the voice sounded so much like him. She then quickly looked behind her, her eyes widened.4

"Sephiroth.....you're alive. We truly did do it," Sophia said smiling.5

"Yes. I hear that this is down to you. Bringing the black materia to me, allowing me to get my revenge upon those useless humans that hurt me so much. However, I must ask you. Why did you do all this? Why did you go to all the trouble for me?" Sephiroth said curiously, his emerald green eyes gazing into Sophias eyes, as though he was unsure of whether to trust her. Sophia then turned away6

"I wanted to be more than just a pitiful memory. Memories are weak, allowing you to fall to them. Kianna always fell to her memories. I am different," Sophia said, then turning to Sephiroth she continued "I wanted to be more than Kianna ever was, so I became this. Now Kianna is just a memory. Sophia is more than that, and she will stay that way, and will not fall to pitiful memories. I know you wanted to seek revenge on the humans, just like me. They bullied me and hurt me. Now Kianna is gone, they don't care, but one day they will, and I will show that I can be more than Kianna ever was. I followed you because I knew you understood what it was like to be different. I did all this because I know you want to be more than just a memory, to be forgotten, like I said, weak."7

This statement had Sephiroth thinking. "More than just a memory...." he mumbled to himself, then, turning to Sophia, he said,8

"Get ready for the fight of your life, human or angelic. When this barrier disappears, expect company, and be ready for them. We are going to reclaim this world back for mother, once and for all."9

With that the clone came out of the cave and smiled, as Sophia grinned, and Sadie smirked, they waited, for the barrier to disappear.10
