Splender in the grass

I dream of us meeting on a bright sunday afternoon.1

We are both walking in the park in the beginning of spring.2

Although we are at the same park,neither one of us is3

aware that the other is there.4

As I walk along the cobblestone trail,children5

are playing and lovers cuddle close to one another.6

I am thinking of you and my mind drifts in and out of7

reality. 8

I imagine what it would be like if you were 9

here by my side.10

I begin to smile to myself as visions of us love dancing11

on the fertile spring grass invade my thoughts.12

We are filled with champaign and drunk with love. 13

I see us having a picnic together. 14

You and I have prepared delicious snacks and treats that we feed each other.15

We laugh, talk and cuddle as we look into each others 16

eyes.  17

I continue walking in the park,half dazed in a trance 18

like state.19

suddenly I feel lonely as the reality of my vision just20

being a dream hits me.21

I lower my head in sadness and become teary eyed because22

I want you so much. 23

The sound of children's laughter brings me back to a more cheery state.24

Then,I look up and to my surprise,there you are standing in25

front of me with a big beautiful smile on your face.26

I stand motionless,then I rub my eyes to prove to myself27

it's not a dream. You touch my face gently and smile. 28

Then you say,"whats the matter baby,you're not happy to see me?"  29

A great big smile fills my entire face and I grab you and give 30

you the biggest hug.31

We find a quiet place in the park behind a big oak tree.32

As we Lay on the grass and cuddle,kiss,touch,talk and live33

out some of our much desired fantasies. 34

    A lovely romantic story..and it ended so soon I want more! Well I hope one day you will expand on this story and tell what happens behind that oak tree....

    Romance Is Alive

    "Splendor In The Grass" What an appropriate title for a wonderful love story. I look forward to moments like those that you've so elegantly described. But for now I too will dream and create such romantic scenes in the reality of my mind.

    So sweet. Tells the story of love, as in in the spiritual love of the soul. To be locked with someone so passionately that they can feel your emotion.
