Dear miss.

I fully intended to write but; 1

1. I got home late after the train I was travelling on got a puncture.2

Then after I had eaten my tea;3

2. I turned on my computer and checked out my e-mails. and there was a que of questions about my 'Star Wars' figures I'm selling on E-Bay. This took some time to sort out.4

That sorted.5

3. My little sister was pestering me to get on the PC and my Mother said I should let her use it as she would soon be going to bed and I could do my stuff later.6

And.7

4.The dog needed to go for a walk.8

When I  got back my sister was dressed for bed and I was free to use the PC; until.9

5. I was sat at the PC when I started to smell something unpleasant wafting up to my nose. I had trodden in dog mess had walked it through the house. After cleaning this up under my Mother's strict guidance I was sent to bed.10

Sadly today has not much gone any better for me. As you can see, I am now sporting a rather natty coloured cast on my arm. 11

6.Whilst getting dressed in a hurry this morning I inadvertently put two feet into one leg of my underpants. I lost my balance and fell over and broke my wrist in the process.12

7. A resultant trip to the hospital left me no time this morning to catch up and write.13

8. The Doctor advised me that I must not over do it while my wrist mends.14

I have now got a real story to write but I find that my cast gets in the way when I lift up a pen.15

9.Now that I have a computer to help me put down my words; I find that I keep being interrupted by the other kids who want to sign my cast.16

10. This room that I'm sat in so the other kids cannot bother me is far too warm and the window won't open and so I can't concentrate properly.17

All these excuses would I am sure disappear if I was allowed to stay at home until my wrist mends!18
