Fading Worlds

As the world fades away around me and I fall into a deep sleep I seem to arrive to this very place every time.1

I stroll far a long while through the luminous forest where all the trees are the brightest of all greens and the bark looked as if someone painted a fresh coat of caramel paint on them. The trees are various heights and shapes. Some represent giants while others represent dwarfs and round plump little babies. The ground looks like it is made of cinnamon with lime gum drops in several places of the landscape.2

With each and every intake of the cool crisp air of the morning I could decipher that it had rained the night before, prior to my arrival. Thick moisture hung in the air as I peered through the twilight. It made me hot as the moisture made my clothes stick and slid against my skin. The feeling was most uncomfortable. I felt as if a heavy weight was placed on my shoulders. 3

Tripping over a large root of a dwarf tree I hit what seemed to be the soft, delicate ground. The dirt and pebbles raised above me as I plundered to the ground. A bit of blood trickled down my face from above my eyebrow. It slipped into my mouth. The soil and the blood left me with a rusted metallic after taste.4

I laid there feeling the ground that was cold  as ice and stern as tightly compacted cement blocks.  Every bone in my body cracked or so it seemed as I got up. Struggling to walk straight for the fall made me dizzy, I stopped. I heard the wonderful sound of a raging water fall in the distance. I run to it. Coming to the clearing I can see the wonderful, oasis. There was an eerie silence to it with only the sound of the roaring waterfall. Eerie but yet calm and collected at the same time and it came to my liking.Observing the new place I could see the vast field of flowers the color of white creamy clouds that floated  in the light blue ocean above me. The sun felt warm and gentle against my skin. So peaceful and warm. I decided to sit down in the thick soft velvety neon green grass.5

While watching the clouds go by a beautiful butterfly fluttered passed my face and landed gracefully on my hand. The fragile antennas and legs felt me as it walked on my hand. It gave me a tickle cessation. I giggled watching its royal blue and black wing flex in the light breeze. Flying away just as gracefully as it had came, I decided to lay back and absorb this feeling of peace within my self and the environment. Shortly after, I closed my eyes, I awoke from this illusion and returned back to the real world.6

I like your imagery. I especially noticed how at the beginning you compare the appearance of things with candy a lot. Perhaps things were a bit sweet at the beginning, and turned out peaceful in the end. I have to say, when I picture the ending it looks kinda funny... a person sitting on the grass looking at the butterfly on her/his hand; everything is so peaceful while the cut is still prolly there with dried blood on her face. So yeah, anyway I like how you're able to convey such beautiful feelings from your dreams to your words. Well done!
