The house air smells like Christmas cookies fresh out of the oven,2
and all that it left it the tree!

but now it's time to add a fir tree to the family.5
It's been two years since we bought that fir tree,6

all but our tree...9
hauling it down from the attic stairs I wonder if it's worth it,10

caring it through our house,12
as pine nettles fall down,13
we start to set it up...14
separating each set15

all of the stems are out, but we can't start or even do anything!17
