Completely over you

I hear the rustling sound of your voice in the background, but I cannot find you. You are simply a shadow that I have not yet unmasked, but I still look, and threw the corner of my eye I catch a glimpse, and make my way toward you. Before I can drag my self to go say 1

”Hello” I stop, and just stand there, frozen, stopped in the middle of time. 2

I’m frozen, because I’ve realized I once loved you too, and like any other girl I simply served you my heart on a silver platter. You rejected me, and somehow I know this, and you are simply amazed and astonished that I actually figured this out on my own. I’m not going to be like the one that’s attached to your arm tightly grasping on, afraid that she will also loose you, no I’m not going to be here, even though I once was that girl. I’ve moved on.3

I’ve actually found a new love, and I'm afraid, I'm afraid so much that if I continue walking over to you in this crowded surrounding, that I might just fall back in love with you, and I cannot take that chance. For once I'm happy, and not trying to worry about whether or not you’re happy. 4

This new found love is everything I’ve been looking for, and it’s kind of funny, and your jealous because after you shattered my heart, I’ve gotten someone to sew it back together.5

I just casually smile, and turn and walk back to the corner I cam from.6
