Chapter 18- THE FUNERAL
***Bella***
....We stared at each other for a long moment.His hand smoldered against my skin. In my face, I knew there was nothing but wistful sadness-- I didn't want to have to say goodbye now, no matter for how short a time. At first his face reflected mine, but then, as neither of us looked away, his expression changed.1
He released me, lifting his other hand to brush his fingertips along my cheek, trailing them down to my jaw. I could feel his fingers tremble-- not with anger this time.
He pressed his palm against my cheek, so that my face was trapped between his burning hands.2
"Bella",he whispered.3
I was frozen.4
No! I hadn't make that decision yet. I didn't know if i could do this, and now I was out of time to think. But I would have been a fool if I thought rejecting him now would have no consequences.
I stared back at him. he was not my Jacob, but he could be. His face was familiar and beloved. In so many real ways, I did live him. He was my comfort, my safe harbor. Right now, I could choose to have him belong to me.5
Alice was back for the moment, but that changed nothing. true love was forever lost. The prince was never coming back to kiss me awake from my enchanted sleep. I was not princess, after all. So what was the fairy-tale protocol for other kisses? The mundane kind that didn't break any spells?6
Maybe it would be easy--like holding his hand or having his arms around me. Maybe it would feel nice. Maybe it wouldn't feel like a betrayal. Besides, who was I betraying anyway? Just myself.7
Keeping his eyes on mine, Jacob began to bend his face toward me. And I was still absolutely undecided.8
Biting my lip, I finally knew that Edward would never be coming back. Leaning in, his lips pressed to mine. Rough at first but then grew softer but still with much burning heat. His body heat mixing with my normal one. His right hand fingers twisting through my hair and his other hand pulling me by the waist, closer to him.9
***Jacob***10
It finally happened. I got enough courage to kiss her. She was downright beautiful and I knew she had to be my soul mate. I loved her more then life it self. Her kiss was soft, sweet but dangerous to me. 11
***Alice***
Shock grew over me, for once I didn't see this coming. I did know Edward was here to see if Bella was still waiting for him. I could see he would be disappointed.12
Walking out, I rushed past Edward himself. 13
***Edward***14
I watch them kiss and I knew it was over. She choose the dog over me. My body felt colder then ever before but is that really possible?15
***Bella*** 16
Finally, I broke away and turned to see Edward. But my mind was already set. I loved Jacob.17

I looked at Bella, wondering if she was going back to Edward now that he is here. Did she still love the leech more than me? i knew the answer once her lips found my cheek. A boyish smile broke on my face. Happy and satisfied. Watching Edward Walk away was the second highlight of my life. I bet you can guess what the first was.19
***Epilogue***
1 year later
***Bella***20
I asked him and he was shocked. But then smiled and nodded. I just asked him to consider on making me a werewolf too. At first, I thought he'd say no. I'm happy he didn't.21
On the night of a solar eclipse, he said he would change me. And guess what? That's tonight...22

Interesting ending, but Bella's attitude seems a bit lax and unrealistic. Maybe more so I can understand her feelings - why she choose Jacob, etc.

Understanble. I have a better fan fition but I am not a huge fan of Bella, so he ends with a blind girl named Sally instead. If you'd like to read it, it's called "Kiss the stars (A Jacob Black Fan fiction)

that was pretty interesting, though I despise Jacob with a burning passion that should curse him to the depths of Hades. Edward is so much better. *sigh* that's why I'm not entering this contest; I don't think I could make Bella choose the dog over Edward. (:
It was pretty well written, though you had some spelling and grammar errors, as most everything does (: I would've liked to know more of what Edward was thinking when he saw Jacob and Bella kiss.
Also, I thought it was impossible for someone to be turned into a werewolf unless they were born with the gene. I suppose you can change anything during a fan-fic though (:

Well, I understand that you love Edward but I'm a Jacob lover so can you hold back on the bashing? Plus, I know this sucks big time and I also agree, he SHOULDN'T end with her, in fact I have a sort of better fan ficton about him. But it bashes Edward a little but barely. Not enough to make Edward lovers mad at me. he ends up with a blind girl named Sally who gets turned into a vamp. ^w^

This was pretty interesting, very different than what I was expecting, I mean, I was expecting you were going to describe their passionate kiss into a more detailed and overdramatic scene and end it there.
But this was pretty cool having the other characters views on perspective, and the ending was very unexpected.( I wouldn't think that would be possible for her to be changed into a werewolf, but what do I know?)
