Semi-Normal Vampires:10

- Killed by Silver Bullets11

- Sleep in Dark Gothic Rooms12

- Filthy Rich... Just like Vlad Dracul13

- Blood to Drink and Change.14

- Teeth to Bite to Kill.15

- NO LIGHT/SUN16

TWILIGHT VAMPIRES:17

- Sparkle like Diamonds in Sun18

- Bite to Drink and Change19

- No Sleep20

- No Silver Bullets and Holy Water21

- No affect to Garlic22

Geesh... what the hell happened? Now the chance of finding a GOOD vampire story is rare... i've been forced to read shit like Twilight etc... (even though i do like it to a certain degree)23

In the Good old Days, Vampires were pure Killers. ACTION! ACTION! ACTION! Blood and Gore!!!!24

Now they want to turn Vegetarian and Help the Human Race. and some even fall for Human. Ewww. ROMANCE! ROMANCE! ROMANCE!25

How did the world change??? I don't know. did the Vampire Romance Authors wake up one day and think 'ohh, i cant be bothered writing Vampire Action anymore, i wanna turn them into ewey gooey vampires obsessed with L*VE.' Because if they did, they killed the current Generation!!!!!!!26

so i say, BRING BACK MY OLD SKOOL VAMPIRES!!! (ALSO IF YOU DO WRITE VAMPIRE STORIES, PLEASE SHOW EM IN COMMENTS BELOW)27

    I see your point. But one: Gooey romance appeals to a younger generation of readers (aka teenage girls ) so authors write it to sell. Secondly, the classic vampire theme was also being overdone, so my guess is authors wanted to make vampires more original, and if the only way they could do that was to make them sparkle in the sun they'd do it. I like them both, but if someone can somehow mesh the two and make a very twisted character I would enjoy that very much.
