Shingaki Chapter 1

Shizune walked along the beach of a town called Shingaki. Shingaki was a town full of bandits and criminals. You couldn't trust anyone but yourself. Even so though, Shizune had no one BUT herself. She was completely alone in this little world of hers. Most people just knew her as some red headed chick walking down the street with guns in her pocket. Shizune wasn't anything to anybody....Until just recently...1

Akira flew down the streets of new york. He was a 16 year old kid who managed to get some job at a company. Now anyone would look at him and say..."Theres no way..." But Akira was a smart kid. Just...no one knew it. His boss was in need of an extra worker and being desperate, he chose Akira for the job....as a gopher. Sure it wasn't the best job in the world, but it helped Akira put food on the table.3

*ring, ring*4

Akira picked up his cell phone while running franticly to the docks. It was his boss on the other line...5

"Akira!!! Your late! That package better be there or so help me god!!!" His boss yelled.6

"Yes! i know sir i know! I'm running there now! i promise that package will be there!"7

But before Akira could say anymore his boss had hung up. Akira was kinda pissed that his boss would treat him this way, but when he thought about how much this job payed, he really didn't have any room to complain.8

He finally made it to the docks. And there waiting for him were a couple of big tough guys and a very beautiful woman. The woman looked at him with disgust, while the big guys stared off into space. or so it seemed.9

"Your late kid....." The woman said.10

"I-I know ma'm. I'm very sorry." Akira apologized while handing her the package.11

The woman just smirked and motioned for those two big guys to come with her. Akira watched the woman drive away in the car. And then looked out into the ocean.12

"Ah..come on Akira, you've got to do better than this, how're you gonna survive huh?" He said to himself. 13

He just sat there, motionless, watching the ocean. Its been awhile since he's seen anything so beautiful. Akira really hated the city, he kind of wanted to go back to Japan. But he knew it was impossible. If he were to go back he would.....14

"YOU!!!!" Someone yelled while punching Akira in the face.15

Akira fell backward and hit his head on the hard ground. A few seconds later he felt himself being lifted up into the air, hanging from his shirt collar.16

"You little bitch! That package...was supposed to be ours!!" 17

Akira opened his eyes to see a very big man and he looked very very mad. Akira shook with fear. Had he given the package to the wrong person? His boss would surely kill him now!18

Akira put his hand on the man's hand and gripped it tightly. "I-I gave the package to the wrong person...didn't i?" 19

The man dropped Akira and he landed on his head. "Nah, you gave it to the right person, but i was to late to nab it from 'em. By the way, the names Brock, and yours?"20

"Why..Why do you want you know my name?" Akira yelled.21

Brock picked Akira up from his shirt collar again..."Because your gonna be my hostage. I need that package, and i will do whatever it takes to get it back, kid."22

Brock dragged Akira onto a small boat and threw him in there. He started up the boat and off they were, out into the big ocean.23

"NO!! Stop where are you taking me!! STOP IT!!" Akira yelled while trying to get Brock to stop the boat.24

But the man swatted him away like a fly. And Akira fell on his back. 25

"No use buddy, I'm not lettin you go, now you might as well tell me your name, and if ya do, i might even buy ya a drink." Brock smirked.26

Akira layed there in silence. He was in deep shit. What was he supposed to do? Yell for help? Not a chance, no one would hear him anyway....27

"Akira...Akira Sohma..."28

"Akira...hehe nice name for a wimpy kid." Brock laughed.29

Akira bolted up from his position on the ground. "Whats that supposed to mean?! Come on i'll take you on!!" Akira yelled.30

Brock threw an empty beer bottle at him..."Shut up kid, enjoy the ride while ya can."31

Akira layed on the boat floor with all hope lost...and a really big bump on his head.
