Ask any chav "what is the point of homework?" they'll say "there is no point it's a F***ing waste of time, like innit blud" then again they'd probably say the same about the whole of education...56
To be honest, sometimes I think the same when presented with "Generic Copy&Paste Worksheet No.245" Although when given a obiviously usefull peice of homework, I.E. Research or redrafting, I do see the point of it.78
When introducing this series I promised to try and accuratly portray both points of view, now for the first time I will attempt to do this:910
Supporters of homework (AKA: Teachers) would say that homework prepares students for real life jobs, and allows them to teach more important things int he lesssons.1112
Although, in what job would you have to to work at home? and also, if the teacher cant teach everything he/she needs to in the lesson, homework isnt the answer, having more lessons is!1314
