Odd woke up early and took a shower, he rushed to his cell phone, to call Saphire, but her phone was switched off. So, he called her home phone number, he thought he was talking to Saphire, but it was really a voice message. "Hey, Saphire I was wonderin' you wanna go hang out? Oh, uh... this is Odd, I just be in the fields, if you need me. Bye!" Odd raced happily to the fields, he spotted Saphire picking flowers and singing to herself. 10

He walked up to her and covered her eyes with his hands. "Guess who." Odd said. "Odd." Saphire said softly. "Correct, my dear!" Odd said happily. Odd uncovered her eyes and turned her around. He kissed her lips and she kissed him back. After 2 minutes Odd pulled away and Saphire could barely stand. "Saphire, Saph, don't faint." Odd said. But, Saphire couldn't help it. She fainted and Odd caught her. He carried her to a hammock. 14

He placed her on the hammock and laid down next to her. He waited for her to wake up. After a couple of minutes, she fluttered her eyes open and looked around. "Odd, what are you doing here? And why are we in a hammock?" she asked, trying to get up, but Odd laid her down again. "Don't move around too much, you'll fall off." Odd warned. "Why am I in a hammock?" she asked. "Well, I came to visit you, I kissed you, you fainted, and I carried you here, and I've been waitin' for you to get up." Odd explained. Odd kissed Saphire's forehead and she looked up at him. "You're gonna make me faint again." she said. "You can't faint if you're lying down." Odd said. "I'll be unconsious." replied Saphire. 18

Odd wrapped his arm around Saphire and said, "You know you look really cute when you're sleeping." Saphire turned over to her side and cuddled close to Odd. "I love you." she whispered. "I love you too." Odd whispered back. For a while, they just layed there, looking at each other. Saphire blushed and looked away. Odd stroked her hair and turned her face over, so they were looking at each other again. "So, why do you always faint whenever I touch or kiss you?" Odd asked. Saphire frowned and looked up at the sky. Odd kissed her hair and waited patiently for her answer. "I don't know, I had it since I was 8. It happens whenever I get nervous. I guess I just have bad luck." 22

Saphire felt tears slide down her cheek and felt Odd brush they away with his lips. "You don't have bad luck, Saph. You won't have any problems after we're married. I promise." Odd said. Saphire looked at Odd and cuddled closer to Odd and wrapped her arms around his torso. He leaned forward to kiss her and they were like so close to kiss, when Seth walked in on them. "Hey, Saph." he greeting, acting as if Odd wasn't there. "You just had to come now Seth." Saphire replied, getting up. "Well, your dad wants you to come home now." he replied. "Ok, you go, I'm coming." Saphire said, looking at Odd. After Seth started walking, Saphire kissed Odd's cheek and said, "Bye, Odd I gotta go." Odd grabbed her hand and asked, "Who's he?" "He's just my friend, that has a crush on me." Saphire said quickly. "Ok. Well, bye." Odd replied, letting go of her arm. 26

After Saphire left, Odd laid back down on the hammock and started thinking about Saphire. And when Saphire went home, she laid down on her bed and did the same.30
